Relations with the U.R.H.S

Dear Sir,

I would be honoured to open relations between the United Republic of Hortania and Sinoland and Nedland. Please e-mail the following address to sign the treaty.

Yours Sincerely,

President Billbrough

It's me Kyut Móuh-wòhng (Mandarin name Que Wu-huang)! I and the King of Shengli decided to disestablish Shengli so from now on, Shengli has defunct.

We only have 21 days of diplomacy (not even a month) and we must end it here. See you.

Why have you cut recognition of Caeruleus?

Please tell me. Caeruleus is strangely not on your foreign relations page anymore.

I apologise, but I am rather inactive in micronationalism currently. I also don't want to have a repeat of the MNTO :( Sorry. I am also inactive on skype aswell. I will inform you when I become active again. Thank you for understanding. :)

Re: Active Indonesian Micronations

I want to correcting several members of Indonesian micronations on your list of active micronations, as you wish before.

  • Drastharaya was no longer exist;
  • I found it interesting that you put Fiharaya on the list, because we also found it difficult to contacting him and discuss about his micronation. on Fiharaya, I think we need to talk deeper to make it clear;
  • Indokistani leader is Farhan Abdurrahman, not me;

For micronations lead by William Timothy, I suggest you to contacting him directly.

Thanks! Nabil nordamdie (talk) 11:36, 22 October 2015 (BST)

Time to reestablish relations!

Sure, a treaty sounds great! I'll try to send a document containing a treaty to you through my skype account or through the microwiki forum, whichever works best.

I have prepared the treaty!

Here's the treaty:

Apologies for the delay! I've been immersed in two short-session courses this summer, and they're just ending today, so I hadn't had time to give your request the attention it deserves. Theodia would be happy to discuss mutual recognition with Nedland. /swέna/ 💬 13:20, 5 July 2016 (BST)

That's alright! In my limited diplomatic career, I've found it's probably always best to avoid rudeness in diplomacy, though -- even when it's highly tempting. And I had indeed edited I think one page or so. Someone had applied for citizenship, and I was updating the citizen-count. I didn't have time to do more than that, though, so I didn't check my messages until today. I'd be fine with using your template. If we have one, it hasn't been updated since Axel's passing (I've always focused primarily on internal development). /swέna/ 💬 20:59, 5 July 2016 (BST)

There's quite a bit more than just mutual recognition in there! Since Theodia has no intention of waging any sort of micronational war, the peace-clauses are de facto quite unnecessary; but I see little fault in having them. However, I do take some issue with the wordage 'commit' in section 4, as Theodia has very limited diplomatic resources at this time, having trouble even observing a YAMO; meaning that we would likely be unable to uphold that end of the bargain in all possible cases; but we are, of course, quite happy to cooperate on issues of mutual interest. I would perhaps prefer a wording akin to "to, where reasonable, commit", as it stresses our mutual goodwill, without expressly requiring such action (identifying and cooperating) in situations where it would not be realistic for Theodia (or Nedland) -- although perhaps I'm being overly pedantic here. /swέna/ 💬 18:33, 6 July 2016 (BST)

I don't see the change in the Google Doc itself; but if it has been made, then I accept the terms of the treaty. /swέna/ 💬 19:45, 7 July 2016 (BST)

Correct. /swέna/ 💬 20:03, 7 July 2016 (BST)

Skype: 'Sweyn9'. /swέna/ 💬 03:55, 8 July 2016 (BST)

Inappropriate use of the {{fantasy}} template

Please refrain from using the {{fantasy}} template on any of my or Cip's articles. This is not up for debate; we both count with the Administration's support on this matter. Please do not start an edit war.

Thank you in advance. ricky háblame 18:34, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

Inappropriate use of the {{defunct}} template

Hi, sorry to be a bother, but it appears you're misusing the {{defunct}} template. You're adding it to articles where it's clearly reflected that the micronation or party in question is indeed defunct. The articles State of Berin and Righteous Faith League are entirely written in a tone that reflects that these entities are no longer active (written in a past tense, mentioning its succeeding entities, etc.), so {{defunct}} is not necessary. The very phrasing of the template text makes it clear: You can help make the article reflect that or ask on the talk page for further information. The template exists to clarify a micronation is dead in cases where the article hasn't been properly updated, such as Republic of Kozuc, where the template is being properly used. If that article is ever updated to reflect its current situation, then the template should be removed. This is why articles like Rushymia or Kingdom of St.Charlie don't have the template.

In general, if an article is already in the Defunct micronations category, it's likely the template does not warrant to be there.

Regardless, I'd still like to thank you for your commitment to making the wiki a more organized and standardized place. ricky háblame 15:40, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for the information.

I am very sorry if I have misused templates. I have not been active for long but I did read "basic rules of editing" which was not clear on this specific topic. I am grateful to you for taking the time to inform me and be assured that I have taken note of your concerns with my use of templates. I would further like to thank you for moving my biographical page and using a shorter but better title.

I wish you well in your micronational endeavours,

Henry Whittingham

Re: Sabia and Verona

Hey there. If the administration is now enforcing the (traditionally not enforced) rule of having micronation articles named by the full official name of the state, then I have no issue with Kingdom of Sabia and Verona becoming the main article instead of Sabia and Verona. I'm not a fan of the change, but sure.

Thanks for consulting anyways. ricky háblame 01:44, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

Aarianian Population

In response to a recent comment you made regarding our high population, I thank you for your disbelief, but I must inform you that it is completely true. During the 2nd Merging Phase, Aariania annexed the neighborhood of Elizabeth Townes to become the Region of North Elizabeth. All residents were granted citizenship, therefore boosting our population numbers. I am certain that they are knowing because when we first informed the citizens through the distribution of posters, we were falsely mistaken for a "gang" and accidentally made our citizens feel threatened. The Aarianian State made up for this by reassuring that we are not a gang through more posters, communication with the Elizabeth Townes Homeowners Association, and sincere apologies for the misunderstanding. Now, I understand your disbelief in our population numbers, but I would like to proudly inform you that the population listed is, in fact, accurate and I could attempt to find proof, if necessary. I appreciate you checking out my article, and please let me know if I may be of any assistance.

On the page moves

1. What are exactly the Wikipedia and MicroWiki policies of page names? Wikipedia uses the short name, and while MicroWiki recommends that official names are used, it doesn't mandate them. Moreover, Juclandia's constitutional name is both the Kingdom of Juclandia and Juclandia, and the short form is almost always used, apart from international treaties and the state seal. 2. You haven't been moving pages, you have been doing this: It appears that you tried to give the pages a different title by copying their content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by MicroWiki has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In case you cannot perform yourself this move (because the target page already exists), send the case to an administrator.

Cip (talk) 00:57, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Though pleased by your concerted efforts to keep the wiki well-maintained, the administration is a bit troubled by some aspects of your recent editing history. I know that in several conversations on talk pages and on Skype, errors in template use and page naming have been corrected, but some issues still stand.

First, you are still performing some actions contrary to wiki norms. See, for example, recent page move, which you justified for the original page's use of a British spelling. This was improper, as every wiki editor uses the dialect of English with which they are most familiar. British spellings are not "wrong" around here any more than American spellings are automatically "right." In any case, I don't think you have any right to tell Falcar what the spelling of one of their government organs is, especially since their native language is Australian English!

Second, we sometimes find the tone of your edit summaries problematic. Recent examples include "Speek American plox" on the Falcarian move, as well as "Sorry Henry, you're not special" in creating Sgt Pepper redirect. I know you and Henry have already dealt with the substance of the edit privately, but it must be said that the authoritative tone (I would call it admin-like , but we're usually not that rude) you adopt when leaving summaries for edits like these is inappropriate when 1) you are mistaken as to policy, and 2) you are not in a position to make wiki policy. Additionally, summaries like these, especially the Sgt Pepper one, are unduly abrasive, an affront to the level of respect we hope to maintain on this site.

I do not want to scare you off from productive editing, but I do hope that moving forward, you will follow actual wiki policy and common sense, consult an admin when there is any reason to doubt the propriety of an edit, and maintain a respectful and reasonable tone. Failure to heed this warning will result in a 48-hour ban to help things cool off. I'm sure this will not prove necessary, though. Let us know if you have any questions.

Re re

The treaty in question never went through the proper procedures to be approved by our government, and therefore is not official yet. I am sorry that our representatives did not inform you of our laws on the matter or the status of the particular document. The treaty still sits before the Council of Governors and has not been ratified. The Consul has assured me that proper steps will be taken today. Sarky (talk) 15:16, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

Uhh, Excuse me?

I`m sorry but who exactly ever gave you any indication or permission that you may just take my territories from Litvania? Those territories are still sovereign under our constitution. I ask you to remove your text from our pages, and make an announcement that they were indeed not part of Nedland. The territories were: Slovynia, Svemirka, Tynovia, Kemorluck, Lorenia, Mosavia. Thank you Ned, hope you have a great day! Mfnowacki (talk) 15:56, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

I found your message from June 8. A mutual recognition would be nice. I'll do the necessary modifications on my page. Sinds your country merged with Khorașan after your message I presume I should refer to Nedlando-Khorașan now.

So, I’m doing a survey, I’m trying to find out what the most popular micronation is; so can you name 5 micronations which you think are the most popular?

The information will be for the Micronational Popularity Index. If you have any questions please ask me.

If you can help me with this I will appreciate it!

Hey, so I noticed you have Nedland back and running again, I noticed all the edits you were making and I'm curious, are you doing them all on the main page or did you sandbox it? The reason I ask is because if you happen to need any help at all doing anything on the wiki, I'd be happy to offer my help (I hope this makes sense and I'm not just rambling).--Guess I never Miss (talk) 19:09, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
