Elections United Micronations

Hello, why did you delete the page of elections? And why the page of Belia has to be under this in dispute?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Democratic Republic Belia (talkcontribs) 22:21, 15 November 2015‎

Hello! To make things clear (as you have noticed by now), I have moved the page off the main namespace. It is an informal convention to not use the main Wiki namespace for matters such as voting, which the page appeared to serve for. Voting can be very well done on another website, through other means of communication, or if you must, on a talk page or a subpage, but definitely not on a subpage of a non-existent page. I apologize, this may be not known by you, but it is how things have been done here for a very long time. For now, just remember this and try to avoid repeating it in the future.
Next, I am enforcing a rule that users do not remove templates such as Template:Dubious or Template:Fantasy from their articles. From what I remember, an administrator marked your article as dubious due to extraordinary claims (the GDP and the car, I believe) that have not been proven in any way. The template must remain, either until an administrator allows you to remove it, or when the content considered dubious is removed. Administrators may allow you to remove it if the dubious elements are proven, somehow. --Luxor (talk) 22:33, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Hello, we explained, we aren't anymore in United Micronations 2014, that car is personal car of president, that GDP per capita is average of our citizens salaries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Democratic Republic Belia (talkcontribs) 22:40, 15 November 2015‎
Ah, I see. Regarding the GDP, it should be mentioned somewhere how this figure was obtained. While it is not mentioned anywhere, the amount of citizens you would claim to have would be somewhere in the mid 20 thousands (GDP / (GDP / population) = population). I believe that to be highly unlikely. --Luxor (talk) 22:56, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

It is right, we counted as all citinzens who lives inside Belian territory. little more 20.000 people lives in Belian territory.

Foreign relations of Hashima

I would like to thank You, Luxor, for your constructive edit of the article mentioned above. Fabriziodg91 (talk) 16:23, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

Vandalism in our page

Hello, User:Bob Christ is doing vandalism in our page, we don't edit their page, but they made vandalism in our 4 times this evening.

Hi, User:Bob Christ here. Just thought you should know, the "vandalism" Belia is accusing us of perpetuating is us removing an accusation that Whestcorea is a puppet nation of Hashima. Belia cites no evidence for his claims and it serves merely as libel by association, and as such we saw fit to remove the reference he posted under the clause "If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then do not submit it here" of the editing box. --Bob Christ (talk) 18:36, 16 November 2015 (GMT)

Account DRB 00, will this story have an end?

Seems that Belia, after that Überstadt blocked him for indefinite time two of his accounts, created a new one, this time is DRB 00. I've seen that in the talk page of this new user there's a welcome message from you. Did you moderator guys keep attention to new users? This is the second account that Belia creates after the ban, the nickname is also clearly the same almost, and he continues to edit only the articles relative to Belia. I hope You can do something more, seems he never will stop to create other accounts. Fabriziodg91 (talk) 17:59, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

We explained already by email that we want to continue with our project. We can't understand how if we change something in your page of Hashima, we broke your freedom of speech, but then if you change the page of Belia and we edit we are in vandalism.

Hello Mr. Karl

Hello, i am having issues with miniature of images in a article of mine, the article in question is: http://mw.micronation.org/wiki/Nossian_Crown .

Thank you for your attention.

--Carlo I

Hello, I checked it and it appears to be the Unicode characters you are using. I would advise you to use only characters from the English alphabet for now, if possible. I have located the issue (a few PHP libraries seem to be either missing or broken so the update script just throws an error, so it does not generate the thumbnails), but I am unable to work on it for now. --Luxor (talk) 19:56, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Mail problem in the Forum

Hello again. I'm having the following problem: I registered myself in the Micronation.org Forum, but i don't received my activation email. I tried again many times, but nothing until now. What that could be?

-Carlo I

Greetings! I've manually activated your forum account; everything should be working now. Austenasia (talk) 19:05, 30 March 2016 (BST)

Page Problems

Hi. I'm Lodovice, one of the Overwatchers from the Democratic Oligarchy of Libertatem Regni Sui. On August 7th or 8th, I created a page for my nation titled the Democratic Oligarchy of Libertatem Regni Sui. Another member of my nation tried looking it up on the Wiki but found nothing. I tried searching for myself and nothing showed up. It might be because of the maintenance but I would just like to make sure that it will be showing back up so I won't have to make a new one.

I look forward to your help and reply, Overwatcher Lodovice Steels, LRS

My page strangely... doesn't load,

My page on this wiki (Lifréia) doesn't load. All it says is "The page in mw.micronation.org is not working. Redirection in excess." Any help would be much appreciated. --LopesDeLamburgoeLifre (talk) 13:23, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

My page is still down.

It still doesn't load. Any progress?--LopesDeLamburgoeLifre (talk) 14:22, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Request Page Rename

Hello Karl. It's me, Suzuki. You helped me out with renaming one article because it was created by a defunct account of mine years ago. Now I want to ask you to do the same for a more recent article, and to inform you of a small problem with the wiki. I don't know if this was true before the updates last month, or if this feature was removed long ago, but the creator of an article here used to have the power to rename an article they created. This no longer seems to be the case, and I just figured I'd let one of the tech admins know about it in case this ability was intended. So, getting to that topic, I request for you or another person with this ability to rename this article as simply New Starland. Thanking you in advance, DNSgov (talk) 00:42, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Opinion on a article.

Greetings, I would like to ask for a little feedback about my article, before I submit it to be voted as a good article.

Thank you in advance.

File Problems

I tried to upload a new version of my flag but it showed up as the old version. I tried deleting it but I don't know how. Please help me!, LRS

Is it showing up properly now? I can see the difference between the versions - but I cannot tell if they are the correct files. If not, it may be a cache problem - you could perhaps try refreshing your cache (Ctrl + F5 in most browsers, if that does not work, you can search for it, or try it in a different browser)? --Luxor (talk) 18:18, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
I pressed Ctrl + F5 and that fixed the problem. Thanks a lot! --LGS

Sorry to be a pain about this...

But I think you missed this --Arbint00 (talk) 00:55, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Adding a language

Good day, I have a language, and I wish to display it on the side of the page, so mobile users have much easier access to it.

Right now, the only way for a user to view this page is as follows

https://micronations.wiki/wiki/His_Royal_Air_Forcehttps://micronations.wiki/wiki/His_Royal_Air_Force/bau, but I would prefer to have it displayed in the "Read this article in other languages" section.

Thanks for your help, HM John I of Baustralia (Talk) 05:00, 10 January 2018 (UTC) HM John I of Baustralia (Talk) 05:00, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

OGG File

Hello! I've noticed that on pages with OGG files, the file and play button don't appear. I already talked to Austenasia, but he told me to ask a technical admin, so I came to you. Is there anyway the problem can be fixed? I was just wondering because having a YouTube link to a national anthem seems weird, but that's how it is for the moment. Also, the OGG File and play button would appear before, so I don't know/remember when the issue began, but I am wondering if it can be resolved. Thank you!

--Andany Gov (talk) 05:08, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I did not test it before making changes (which is wrong, but I was in a rush), but it seems to be working now (Lurk - in the infobox). I updated TimedMediaHandler, which is the extension responsible for this. If there are any further issues, please contact me directly again. --Luxor (talk) 09:53, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Luxor! Thank you so much for updatng it! I see it does work and I appreciate it greatly. Thank you!

--Andany Gov (talk) 19:23, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Switcher

Hello! I noticed that for Template:Switcher, the function doesn't actually work. I tried to make it like Wikipedia's, as I thought copying the code would work in MicroWiki. Can you see what's wrong with the template? Thank you!

--Andany Gov (talk) 05:11, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello, try refreshing your cache (CTRL + F5 or Shift + F5), it should work now. --Luxor (talk) 09:52, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you Luxor for even using some of your time on my requests! You are probably one of my most favorite admins here and I will recognize Lurk immediately and tell other to do the same. I greatly thank you! Best wishes,

--Andany Gov (talk) 19:28, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Deletion on an article.

Hello. I would like to ask for the deletion of the article on The Principality of Nossia and on me. Also, can you at least keep a version of the article? Thanks in advance.

Font Size

Hello Karl! I noticed that the font that MicroWiki uses is different than Wikipedia's. Also, the MicroWiki font size is smaller. I am talking about the text of an article, as the article titles are ok. I am just concerned about the article text font and size. Is there anyway it can be like Wikipedia's, as it looks more clean. This is because if I'm trying to match the article length of a Wikipedia article, my article has to be extra bigger because of the font and its size. Is there any way it can be fixed? or will my weird questions be answered but unchanged? Thanks!

--Andany Gov (talk) 05:24, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello, both MicroWiki and Wikipedia use Arial (that is what my browser and eyes tell me). Perhaps the size is different, but adjusting the font size is not what I should do without consultation of the community and the administration. --Luxor (talk) 20:18, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Sort Key

Hello again! I noticed that the sort key for the Principality of Andany is starting with Principality, even though that's a prefix. It appears here: https://micronations.wiki/index.php?title=Principality_of_Andany&action=info Is there any way it can be fixed? Thank you!

Modules on MicroWiki

Hello, Your Excellency

I was wondering if you could install the LUA module extension, as I'm sure it would improve the abilities of templates, and make it able for us to directly use templates from Wikipedia, or use it's current revisions of pre-loaded templates.

Thank you in advance,

His Majesty John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia, it's Dominions, Emperor of Tentacion

re: LUA modules

Im not to sure if Scribunto is working. The module I tried to use (Module:String) doesn't seem to work. HM John I of Baustralia (Talk) 20:56, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

re:re: Lua Modules

Thank you Your Excellency, while you are at it could you add bau and bau-la to Special:Interwiki, and have them point to Article Name/bau and Article Name/bau-la respectively?

Regards,
His (Imperial) Majesty, John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia, and the Dominions, Emperor of Tentacion

I'm sorry for bothering,
I was wondering if maybe you could work on how the website displays SVG files. If you look at the Flag of Tentacion on the infobox here, you'll notice it's quite blurry, while on Wikipedia, it would look completely fine.
Thanks in advance,
His (Imperial) Majesty, John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia, and the Dominions, Emperor of Tentacion
