Slow down there
While it's always nice to see the emergence of new micronations in New Zealand (for now I'll lay off on you being filthy Communists), you've made a bit of a bungle in your claims. According to your article, you've claimed the entirety of Christchurch. Sorry mate, but Sirocco was there first, and you've gone and claimed almost all of our South Island territories. While that's got Sirocco concerned, it's also never an overly wise move to claim an entire city first - standard convention is to start off with one or two claims and then expand lightly from there.
But back to the main point - your hands on our lands. If you would be so kind as to reconsider your claims, we would be most appreciative.
Okay dokay, we've changed our land claim:
Hello from Speerland
Dear Otautahi, welcome. It is always nice to have a new micronation on the block. Speerland is just down the road in Dunedin. We always like new friends, especially New Zealand ones, so feel free to email us, or just have a look at our page. We would very much like to find more out about your country. Yours cordially, --Speerland 3 (talk) 10:33, 19 July 2014 (BST)
