RE: Mutual Recognition and Diplomatic Relationships

This is acceptable. However, our nation has a strict policy of signing documents in person. We do not accept electronic signatures. We usually send signed copies of treaties via airmail for you to sign. Then you get to keep one and we ask that you send the other copy back to us via airmail for our records.

If you are not able to do this then let me know and I will discuss other options in our Parliament.

Treaty of Mutual Recognition

Emperor Fabrizio,

I wish to open relations between DSFR Nedland and the Great Empire of Dikameppra, so that trade and alliances may benefit us in the future. I am not suggesting that these things happen now, but I do suggest this treaty on the terms of future benefits that may be gained from each other.

Website: https://dsfrnedland.wordpress.com/

I am full-on secessionist, but I believe that opening relations between nations is always a good thing. After all, the treaty should also be for good conduct between our two nations, as it is easier to coordinate all number of things when two nations are friendly.

I hope you consider my request for a treaty of mutual recognition.

Request to join the Asian Micronations

As Emperor of Great Taihan, I would like to put my country forward to join the Asian Micronations. In order to modernize Taihan, we think it's a good idea to collaborate with other micronations in Asia and to learn ideas from other micronationalist in this continent. All we ask, is your permission for us to join this organization.

Sent from his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Hongde

Minahasa

As the King of Minahasa

I want to engage diplomatic relations with Hashima.

And since you the person who only knows about Great Empire of Dikameppra.... Please tell me how I can contact the Great Empire of Dikameppra government.

Thank you

List

Dear Mr. Li,

You're Italian, are you not? You also live in Italy, no? Well, then your micronation is officially based out of Italy. What if some poor Japanese bloke thought you were Japanese and accidentally and embarrassingly messaged you in the wrong language? What if Italians are looking for other Italians and skip over Hashima because they think it's Japanese?

This is the way the list is designed; it is much less confusing to onlookers who wish to know the nationality of the leaders. With the name "Hashima" and your pseudonym "Feng Li," they can assume that you're an Asian-themed micronation, which is a common theme here as you probably know. It won't be hard to find other Asian-THEMED micronations, as again, they'll have all the Asian namesakes. In other words, it's a compromise.

If you've really got that big a problem with it, we can discuss further. There's still time, the MCG hasn't even announced this first edition of the list to the MW community yet. Thank you for your time, kind sir.

Sincerely, Ned Greiner, Imperial Administrator of Nedland (Maintainer of the Micropages service).

Reply

Dear Ned Greiner, I'm Italian but i'm not living in Italy. The Micronation, People's Republic of Hashima, is based on the Hashima island, an Asian island right outside the port of Nagasaki, in Japan. I don't see why the Micronation should be listed under Italy. We declared independence to Japan, not to Italy. Also, the People's Republic of Hashima isn't a Japanese theme Micronation (there isn't wrote nowhere that we're a Japanese "theme" Micronation), but a multicultural Micronation. Actually Chinese is the only one language, but in the next future is probable that the Govern will pass a decree for review the language status and some other things. About Italians, Hashima since some days keeps mutual recognition and diplomacy with the Decracy of Vilthia, ruled by italians, that found us without troubles. I suggest you to keep my point of view, listing Hashima under Japan for Primary Macronation, because i repeat we declared independence from Japan, not to Italy. If you want, you can include "(Italian citizen)" under Feng Li in "Leader(s)" label, or include both Japan and Italy under Primary Macronation label. Listing it under Italy, surely, is also confusing, because Hashima isn't located in Italy and Italy isn't the Primary Macronation from who Hashima declared independence. Hope to hear more from you, and however i thank you so much for your time and your big work. Plus, i wanted to talk with you about some diplomacy and mutual recognition between Hashima and the Empire of Paravia (your Autonomous Region of Nedland is a part of it). Greetings, Fabriziodg91 (talk) 10:22, 22 October 2015 (BST)

Re

Well, it's potentially confusing, especially because the rule is in place. You may not be Asian-themed, per say, but it still might confuse people due to the fact that everyone else is listed under their base macronation.

Also, Vilthia may have found you without trouble only because of your constant activity, whereas most micronationalists aren't. If everyone else is listed under their macronational nationality, why can't you? Also, what nation do you live in? It should be listed under that. Also, you can click on a link and see that you're based in Japan, whereas it only mentions Italy a few times on your page, and not in a conclusive way that suggests you're from their, either. It's also entirely neutral. We can't say that you're based in Japan because you do not have true control over Hashima at the present. You also may notice how we also stray from using any and all formal monarchical titles.

Also, about diplomacy, no problem. You have Skype? I'd like to discuss there if at all possible.

Reply

Dear Ned Greiner,
If we should follow exactly what you propose is more confusing, because everyone could think that Hashima is located in Italy, and this is completely misleading.
I think that for be more easily accessible, your article should list under "Primary Macronation" the Country from who the Micronation declares independence. Is more interesting this than know from where the founder or whatever is operates.
If for example someone will look to the article, will read that the Primary Macronation of the People's Republic of Hashima is Japan, and will immediately understand in what part of the world is located the territory claimed.
Same thing if someone look to the "Republic of Thomasland". The name (that is a fantasy name) can't tell you nothing about from where this micronation should be located. If the founder is located in Germany, for example, you will list it under Germany as Primary Macronation, and everyone will think is located in Germany. But what if the claims are only in Antarctica for example? This could be very confusing and misleading, total chaotic.
Also, following your suggestion, Tibet (that is a not recognized Country, with the government in exile in India) should be listed for example in India, because they haven't the control of their claimed land, but will be confusing and misleading, because their Primary Macronation in this case should be the People's Republic of China (or China, for be shorter).
Please, think better over my suggestion.
About my skype, yes i have but practically never use it, if you want we can more easily through the official email of the People's Republic of Hashima, that is the following:
peoplesrepublicofhashima@gmail.com
Hope to hear again from you.
Thanks again for your time, i hope we will find a common solution that can solve this little problem.
Greetings,
Fabriziodg91 (talk) 15:57, 22 October 2015 (BST)

Why'd you put up the email addresses?

I was formerly a member of the United Micronations, before leaving earlier today. I did find something on the page for it that really angered me, and that was the email of every person in the UM was out in public for anyone to see. Why would you do that? Førvania (talk) 04:59, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

...so that people could e-mail you, I'd assume. You're meant to be governments, aren't you? Why would you be averse to people contacting you? Austenasia (talk) 07:16, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
....Exactly as how Austenasia said, no less no more. Fabriziodg91 (talk) 08:06, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Well, yes, I do understand that, but I generally prefer my email address to be kept private, and for me to share it with people who want to know. Couldn't you have kept the list in some non-public area? Førvania (talk) 10:00, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Warning

About 24 hours after I added the cleanup template to United Micronations (2014), you removed it without actually doing anything to improve the article's problems. I admit that I should have dropped a message on the talk page about what should be improved, but nonetheless, do not remove such maintenance tags unless the problem indicated has actually been resolved. Your next inappropriate deletion of an improvement template will result in a 24-hour block.

As for improvements, I will now go and suggest some on the article's discussion page. Überstadt (talk) 07:03, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Unblock situation

In the way to unblock these situation and for the better for our micronations, we sent to your email an agreement.
