User talk:Democratic Republic Belia
Regarding Belia's page
You are perpetuating a double standard by correcting Hashima's page but not allowing Whestcorea to correct yours. Whestcorea is an independent nation and we do not appreciate any allusions to the contrary.
More to the point, you realize that other users are entitled to edit your page? It literally says it right there at the bottom before you save your changes: "If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then do not submit it here."
You're in trouble.
My complaints are sundry. Here's a list:
- Edit warring. If there is an editing dispute that leads to several reversions, take it up with an admin.
- False information. Yes, the things you say here ought to be true, and if they're contested, you better be ready to corroborate them. This goes for GDP (which is something totally different than salary anyway) and claims about other nations, especially of the controversial sort.
- Removing maintenance templates. This is what got you in trouble last time. It doesn't matter if you agree that the article is dubious; other users do. Deal with it on the talk page or clear up the contested information. ESPECIALLY do not remove the tag if an admin (me) put it there.
- Ignorance about who may edit what. As our friend Bob Christ has pointed out, when you publish something on the wiki, you agree to let anyone edit it. You do not "own" any page, so don't insist that people respect your false ownership.
