To whom it may concern,
It has come to the attention of his Majesty, King Ronald the First of the Kingdom of Sorrenia that the 'British Empire' claims land in County Durham under the name 'Airgread'. I would like to bring to your attention the fact that the Kingdom of Sorrenia claims County Durham in its entirety, and can trace its claim back to early 2012. His Majesty would appreciate it if we could open up discourse on this matter.
Miles of Sorrenia, on behalf of His Majesty, King Ronald the First.
- The British Empire's territorial claims are based on land making up parts of our citizens' homes eg: bits of gardens and a garage. We have a just claim over these territories and visit our territories frequently. These territories make up the vast majority of our empire. Claiming the entire of County Durham seems to be unreasonable and unrealistic, as the majority of residents don't know about the country. It is my belief (not British Empire policy. even this response is unofficial) that as nations are social constructs based on culture and identity, they could (possibly) exist despite overlapping with each other.
- The British Empire will be unable to officially negotiate as we do not have a prime minister at the moment. On the 1st of September, we will have a prime minister with the powers to negotiate and on the 1st of October, we will have a parliament able to pass legislation.

- Dear Daniel Lyons -
- The Kingdom of Sorrenia is appreciative of your claim; if we were able to receive confirmation that your claim will not extend beyond said inhabitant's households, we would be more than happy to drop the issue entirely.
- Many thanks,
- Miles of Sorrenia, on behalf of His Majesty, King Ronald the First.
