The system of Nobles in the Empire of Austenasia is a collection of mostly hereditary titles granted by the Monarch which consists of Imperial Titles, Nobility, Peerages, and Honorifics.

Before the implementation of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011 on 20 September 2011, Nobility held functions in local government and the military. From then until December 2015, all Nobles held purely honorary titles. However, since the passing of the Judiciary Act 2015 on 2 December, Nobles have been eligible (along with Representatives) to serve as judges in the high court of their respective duchy; this remains the only actual function of the titles.

Royal Family

The Gradonian royal family comprises King William and his close relations. There is no strict legal or formal definition of who is or is not a member of the Gradonian royal family.

Those who at the time are entitled to the style His or Her Royal Highness (HRH), and any styled His or Her Majesty (HM), are normally considered members, including those so styled before the beginning of the current monarch's reign. By this criterion, a list of the current royal family will usually include the monarch, the children and male-line grandchildren of the monarch and previous monarchs, the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Cedarnia, and all of their current or widowed spouses.

Nobility

Letters patent may revoke, restore, or create awards, honors, and titles. This decree does also provide that Letters Patent may create both landed and titular nobility...Peerage of the Kingdom of Gradonia includes only Dukes, Marquesses, and Counts, including the female equivalents...

— Eighth Decree of William I

Each administrative division of Gradonia has a Landed Noble, the plural of which is Nobility. This was established by the Konlichstag Members Extensions Act and later expanded upon by the Eighth Decree of William I.
