The State of Samizdat is a virtual state located in a hidden area of the internet called "Onionland". It was established in line with the Montevideo Convention (1933) in May 2019. This micronation has formally claimed the territory of Marie Byrd Land and at one time also laid claim to a one-hectare family plot in Spain. This claim was finally dropped on 3 July 2020. On October 1st, 2019, a call to action was made by the Samizdat government in four different languages (English, Catalan, Spanish & French) asking for the territory to be "invaded" and occupied peacefully by activists. This was in no way a "declaration of independence" from Spain, as the State of Samizdat is a micronation born out of the internet on 20 May 2020. Samizdat's constitution of 26th May confirms this fact.
Etymology of Name
The word Samizdat is Russian in origin. It was used during the Soviet era to refer to the production and distribution by ordinary citizens of government censored political material. The State of Samizdat, established 20 May 2019, sees itself as an anti-establishment micronation, with strong anti-Marxist tendencies. It is a supporter of the Europe of sovereign states, and very much an opponent of the EU project, even going so far as to declare war on the EU.
The State of Samizdat is a micronation committed to a Europe of sovereign nations and strongly apposes ideas which undermine or attack the historical or cultural identity of classical Europe. In a statement dated 10 June 2021, Samizdat made the following statement:
"Those whose aim is contrary to these strongly held political beliefs, are considered Enemies of Europe because of their desire to transform the Europe of proud nation states into a Europe of open borders and blurred European identity, without the democratic consent of the people."
Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi was declared an Enemy of Europe by Samizdat on 25 June 2021. This half Japanese, half Austrian elitist had a confused identity and hated the concept of nation states. His anti-European legacy serves today for the European Union as a justification for "multilateralism" and the "European project".
The State of Samizdat was originally established to represent the community of TOR users in Onionland, but has since developed into a wider project. It has claimed land in the South Pole, recognised several independent states, awarded medals and other awards, and named a government. National Day is celebrated on 20 May. On 3 May 2021 a special edition postage stamp was issued to commemorate National Day.
Medal of Honour & Truth
The State of Samizdat awards Medals of Honour & Truth to honourable individuals it considers have contributed most to advancing truth. This can be expressed in any form: political truth, journalistic truth, scientific truth or artistic truth. There is no limit to the amount of medals that can be awarded per annum, though an individual may be awarded this medal only once.

Statement of Friendship and Respect
The State of Samizdat issues Statements of Friendship and Respect to honour world leaders who have contributed significantly to the development of human understanding and world peace. It is a highest award issued by the State of Samizdat. So far only one such declaration has been issued. On 27 July 2020, Queen Elizabeth II became the first person to receive this award. Changes to this lifetime award on 5 May 2021, meant that only ONE person at a time can hold this Award. This award can be cancelled by the Supreme Court of Samizdat, in cases involving serious human rights abuses in the country where the title holder is the head of state. See statement of 22 July 2021.
Person of the Year Award
Once a year the State of Samizdat grants one individual the honour of being named the person of the year. The choice is based on that person's positive contribution to culture or politics. This award is made on an annual basis on Saint Stephen's Day (Dec 26th) and can only be granted to one individual. There is no shortlist of candidates and the results are announced via our social media channel.

Broken Aura Award
The State of Samizdat issues Broken Aura Awards to so-called "activists" on the payroll of rich and powerful elites. These individuals are groomed by the elites to organise "social revolutions" in foreign countries, but weren't quite up to the task and failed their global masters.
These has-beens, whose aura is broken or who have lost their light, often disappear from the front pages of the press as quickly as they first appeared. Competition for these awards is stiff, so the State of Samizdat awards these prizes on a regular basis and not just annually. These prestigious accolades were first introduced on 10 January 2020.
|24 July 2021||Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya||Belarus citizen and wannabe "activist"||Confirmation|
|26 January 2020||Juan Guaidó||Venezuelan opposition "leader".||Confirmation|
- Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was mistakenly awarded the Broken Aura Award in 2020, but it was cancelled due to the fact that he is not eligible for the award, as he not an "activist".
Word of the Year
Each year the State of Samizdat chooses one word that best represents the values and culture of the State of Samizdat. This event takes place in December and the winning word is usually chosen from a shortlist of competing words. Shortlisted words may fall under any category, including: politics, culture or national values.
National holiday events are funded with public money. This was confirmed on 3 July 2021. Other events however, must be funded by private individuals, groups or companies.
1 January - New Years' Day
25 April - World Penguin Day
15 May - National Flag Day
17 May - Internet Day. May become "Intranet Day" in the future. (6 July)
20 May - Independence Day
1 October - Catalonia Day
6 December - Constipation Day (unofficial holiday)
25 December - Christmas Day
26 December - St. Stephen's Day
The State of Samizat declares Christianity to be the official state religion. No other religion will hold the same status, be offered the same representation, or be equal in standing. All state laws will reflect Christian values and Christian symbols will be present in public buildings and public areas.
— State Decree; March 3rd, 2020
No other religion in the State of Samizdat shares the same status, rights or are reflected in the micronation's laws.
On 27 July 2020 the State of Samizdat rejected the decision by Turkish President Erdoğan to convert the Cathedral of Hagia Sophia into a mosque, calling on the international community to condemn the decision and for the cathedral to remain a place of worship for Christians.
On 23 July 2021 Samizdat released a statement committing itself to placing a Christian cross in its territory, stating that the cross reflects the Christian values and identity of this micronation.
The State of Samizdat encourages its citizens to practise meditation exercises known as Falun Gong in order to improve their physical health. This was confirmed in a statement dated 26 June 2021. Falun Gong is not considered a "cult" by Samizdat, but rather a form of meditation or Yoga. Citizens can practise these meditation exercises freely in public areas.
The State of Samizdat recently launched a radio station called Radio Samizdat. It also runs a social media page on Minds but a Twitter account was recently closed by Samizdat due to the banning of this social network in Samizdat.
The State of Samizdat recently unveiled an ambitious plan for the development of a private computer network, often called an Intranet. On 6 July 2021, Samizdat issued a statement regarding this future project. Samizdat hopes to develop an alternative search engine, social network, video platform and e-mail service for private use by citizens.
The State of Samizdat does require pre-paid SIM cards to be registered by the user, as this can lead to excessive monitoring of activities such as purchases and even voting. The registration of SIM cards can also result in undocumented people being excluded from this basic service. This was confirmed in a statement dated 13 July 2021. This brings Samizdat's policy in line with that of: United States, Czech Republic, Abkhazia, Latvia, Ireland, Sweden, and Israel. It's interesting to note that the "terrorist" argument often used to justify registration of SIM cards, is not accepted by Israel, which has long suffered terrorist attacks. See article.
The official "national sport" in Samizdat is table football (foosball in the USA). Samizdat Table Football Club was established by decree on the 12 July 2021 in the hope of organising table football tournaments in the future, as this "sport" does not require physical strength and anyone of any age can participate. The tournaments will hopefully be international and other micronations will be encouraged to participate.
The statement reads: "The table football club will be open to anyone with an interest in this sport. Samizdat Table Football Club hopes to make contact with similar clubs to establish contact and participate in events."
The State of Samizdat has a unique form of decentralised government. Members of the government are appointed to ministerial and diplomatic posts according to their abilities and knowledge. All appointments are subject to acceptance by those appointed. So far, several appointments have been made. More appointments are likely in the future.

A Political Compass test shows political views on a scale or grid. Dictators like Hitler show up very clearly on the authoritarian fascist scale firmly to the political centre. Other authoritarian leaders like Stalin, are placed on the left on the scale. Margaret Thatcher appears further to the right than Hitler, but less authoritarian in her political views.
Samizdat's own Compass Scale test, shows surprisingly left-wing, libertarian tendencies but almost in the centre between authoritarian and libertarian. We can conclude from the Compass Test that the political views in the State of Samizdat are Centre-Left with slight libertarian tendencies, similar to those of Gandhi who was more left-wing and more libertarian.
There are two official languages in Samizdat: English and French. The language of state administration and diplomacy is English, with French being used for communication and cultural reasons. Spanish was removed from the list of official languages on 3 July 2020.
The State of Samizdat has adopted the following people, plants and animals as national symbols. These reflect the culture and values of this micronation. Lavander was chosen as the national flower because of its ability to ward off flies and its beautiful smell in summer. The adoption of the penguin as the national animal may seem an odd choice, but penguins are cute animals and can be very friendly.

Samizdat celebrates National Flag Day on 15 May. This date was declared a national holiday on 15 June 2021. The State of Samizdat has only officially banned one flag, that of the European Union. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics also banned the EU flag at the opening ceremony.
All other flags, including those of non-recognised states can be legally flown in Samizdene territory, except on public buildings and state flag poles. "Pride Flag" is NOT banned in Samizdat, though there are some restrictions as explained in a statement on 29 June 2021. The Pride Flag is the official flag of a micronation which declared war on Australia.
Samizdat does not recognise the micronation in question so flying this flag on official buildings would imply formal recognition. The alternative flag was launched on 30 June 2021 as confirmed by this statement.
Flags banned in Samizdat
• Flag of the European Union 30 January 2020.
Law and order
The State of Samizdat regards illegal activities online as being just as illegal offline. The written constitution makes this clear, going as far as encouraging web masters and hosting companies to monitor and delete all illegal content. Samizdat has also passed laws to regulate discrimination against non-vaccinated citizens and the rights of men in cases of abortion. A clear definition of human rights abuses exists, and equally precise description of terrorism has been passed into law.
Samizdat Police, established by decree on 17 July 2021, issue arrest warrants for individuals (mainly politicians) who have committed serious abuses of human rights, common crimes, acts of terrorism, pedophilia or genocide. The definition of these crimes is defined by the laws of the State of Samizdat. See table of arrest warrants issued (below).
Samizdat police were granted extra powers on 26 July 2021, when authorisation was given to bring down spy drones flying over Samizdene territory. All such drones brought down would have to be returned to their owners undamaged.
The State of Samizdat has a Supreme Court which was established on 16 July 2021 by decree. On the same day it was established, the Supreme Court of Samizdat brought its first case against Francina Armegol. Sentence for this case has yet to be heard. The first ever court verdict and sentence was against the Spanish government accused of "illegal confinement". The court sentence was issued on the 27 July 2021 and condemned the Spanish government to pay the State of Samizdat 480,000€ compensation.
On 14 July 2021 the State of Samizdat called on French president, Emmanuel Macron to close the notorious pedophile haven, Club Siècle. This French club frequented by France's top intellectuals, politicians, chief executives, journalists, and artists, is known to have links with pedophile rings. Some members of this club have been involved in sexual scandals involving minors.
A similar pedophile scandal is raging in the Spanish Balearic Islands, where young children in the custody of local authorities and social services, have been prostituted, sometimes receiving "clients" inside social services care homes. Samizdat recently issued an arrest warrant for the president of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armegol, for this and other crimes. See table of arrest warrants issued (below). Her trial is now ongoing.
Samizdat rejects sexual messages being pushed at children as part of school activities. On 18 July 2021, Samizdat issued a statement banning "sex education workshops" from schools, especially if they promote ideas which sexualise children and encourage abuse pedophile relationships.

Persona non Grata
The following people have been declared persona non grata by the State of Samizdat for a variety of different reasons. Either because Samizdat does not recognise their official diplomatic status, or because they are considered corrupt or inept. Whatever the reason, these individuals are not welcomed in Samizdat.
Ursula Von Der Leyen - President of EU commission.
JOÃO VALE DE ALMEIDA - EU's "ambassador" to the UK.
Josep Borrell - EU's head of diplomacy

On 16 June 2021 Samizdat passed a decree outlawing both graffiti and political murals. The reason given was that graffiti creates a sense of insecurity and is usually found in areas with high crime rates and drug abuse. A special task force would be set up to deal with this problem.
There are four levels of alert in the State of Samizdat: Low, Significant, High and Severe. Political instability and violence in neighbouring Spain have at times increased the Alert Level, as when the Spanish Supreme Court sentenced Catalan leaders to 13 years prison for "sedition" over an independence bid. This led to riots in Catalonia and the use of force by Spain.
On 9 March 2021 the level of alert was maintained at "Severe" because of the ongoing war with the EU.
Banned Groups & Organisations
The State of Samizdat has banned the following groups and organisations from operating in its territory. Reasons given include subversion, political interference or links to criminal and terror groups. The organisations on this list range from elite financial companies to political parties. Some of the entries have been cancelled. Other groups or international organisations, have been criticised but not banned. This includes the United Nations Secretary General.

Samizdat defined state terrorism in a statement issued on 20 June 2021. The statement read: Samizdat considers vaccine shaming and compulsory or forced vaccination of citizens as acts of state terrorism. Compulsory vaccination includes "vaccine mandates". Both vaccine shaming and vaccine mandates were declared illegal in Samizdat. A law for the protection of non-vaccinated citizens was also issued on 8 June 2021.
• Tajikistan - Declared a terrorist state by Samizdat on 27 July 2021. Recently announced it would vaccinate the entire population by setting up a special task force to "order" everyone to be vaccinated. Tajikistan has also introduced social restrictions.
• Vatican City - Declared a terrorist state by Samizdat on To be confirmed. Recently announced forced vaccination for employees. The Vatican is using "no jab, no job" abuse which are illegal in Samizdat.
• Pakistan - declared a terrorist state by Samizdat on 25 July 2021 over forced vaccination of private and public workers. The government of Pakistan has threatened to cut off mobile phone connections and to withhold salaries.
• Kazkhstan - declared a terrorist state by Samizdat on 25 July 2021 over forced vaccination of workers. The government of Kazakhstan inserted a clause into the bill which would have forced parents to vaccinate their children against measles, mumps, and rubella. This measure failed.
• Fiji - declared a terrorist state on 21 July 2021 over compulsory vaccination under the slogan "no jabs, no job". The terrorist government of Fiji has closed down companies where employees are not vaccinated. See article The president of Fiji has been declared a terrorist by Samizdat.
• Turkmenistan - Declared a terrorist state by Samizdat on 20 July 2021 in a statement. Turkmenistan has a "no jab, no job" policy which is regarded as blackmail and state terrorism by the State of Samizdat. See article. The president of this nation has been declared a terrorist by Samizdat.
• India is classified as a terrorist state by Samizdat over its campaign to “vaccine shame” non-vaccinated Indian citizens. See article. This was confirmed in a statement dated 11 June 2021. On 7 July 2021, India's Health Minister resigned prompting a statement of satisfaction from Samizdat.
Potential Terrorist states
• Greece - Recently announced forced vaccination for forced vaccination for nursing home staff and health workers.
• United Kingdom - Is considering forced vaccination for care home workers. Also considering forced vaccination for disco goers. University students will not be allowed to enter lecture halls unless "fully vaccinated". See statement of condemnation.
• Italy - Introduced forced vaccination for health workers and pharmacists. Those who refused were suspended from their jobs without pay. The Prime Minister of Italy, Mario Draghi, has been declared a terrorist by Samizdat.
• France - This nation recently stated that French health workers will be forcibly vaccinated. The reason for this political outrage is clear from the statement released by Samizdat on 13 July 2021. Emmanuel Macron's political career is over but like all authoritarian figures, Macron believes in the old French saying L'État, c'est moi. But it isn't really true. France has courts, local governments, institutions, political parties, diplomats and separation of powers, which is why Emmanuel Macron is unlikely to forcibly vaccinate its citizens without a fight. As of this date, France is not classified as a terrorist state but Samizdat has called for a new government to be set up in Paris and for Macron to go into exile.
• Spain - Madrid introduced forced vaccination of employees in the form of illegal "vaccination points" in private companies in July 2021. This prompted an immediate statement of condemnation from the State of Samizdat and a call to boycott these companies. A call to direct action has also been issued. Madrid authorities set up "vaccination points" in Spanish companies to intimidate employees into being vaccinated under the threat of losing their jobs. Iberia has also introduced forced vaccination for employees and is now subject to a boycott.
Spain is not classified as a terrorist state by Samizdat as of this date, but the President of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, is likely to be included on a blacklist of terrorists and war criminals. A warning to that effect was published on 4 July 2021. The political party to which the president of Madrid is a member, is also under warning. Isabel Diaz Ayuso has been called on to resign by the State of Samizdat.
The Spanish Balearic Islands is the latest territory to abuse human rights on a massive scale. The recent changes to a local health law are so shocking as to create disbelief in any country. The revised health law states that the president of the Balearic Islands can: forcibly vaccinate any citizen, confiscate their home if they refuse, close any company at will, close down any newspaper, and confiscate food from supermarkets. The Balearics Islands is also at the centre of a pedophile scandal. Not surprisingly perhaps, the State of Samizdat reacted by issuing an arrest warrant for the president of the Belearic Islands, Francina Armegol practically on the same day. The trial is ongoing.
The Spanish region of Galicia is in this category. Reason forced vaccination The Spanish Constitutional court has (temporarily) overturned the sections of the law regarding forced vaccination. See article in English. The man responsible for the "Auschwitz law" in Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijo, also recently demanded a vaccination certificate from citizens entering bars, increasing the demand for fake vaccination certificates. Samizdat has asked for Feijo's resignation. Samizdat police have now issued an arrest warrant.
Spain has avoided a public debate on the issue of forced vaccination in the press, and this has led some to conclude there is acceptance of the idea.
• United States - Houston hospital may be the first hospital in the USA to forcibly vaccinate health workers in what is known as "vaccine mandates". Samizdat made "vaccine mandates" illegal and an act of terrorism on 13 June 2021. The USA is not classified as a terrorist state by Samizdat as of this date.
• Russia - Moscow introduced compulsory vaccination (vaccine mandates) in June 2021. This prompted an immediate statement of condemnation from the State of Samizdat who issued a statement on 28 June 2021 promising to take action. Moscow authorities are known to be anti-Putin and often work closely with the EU to undermine Russia. The Russian state is not classified as a terrorist state by Samizdat as of this date, but the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, is included on a blacklist of terrorists and war criminals. Note: this has sentence not been confirmed by the Supreme Court of Samizdat. A warning to that effect was sent on 28 June 2021.
See also human rights violations and "administrative terrorism" below.
Terrorists and War Criminals
This category exist to identify those people whom the State of Samizdat considers guilty of war crimes or terrorism. The category of war crimes includes forced vaccination. There are currently only a few confirmed names in this category, but a close watch is being kept on several individuals who could commit crimes against humanity under the excuse of COVID-19.
• Emmanuel Macron - President of France. Declared a terrorist on 26 July 2021. Introduced compulsory vaccination for health workers in September 2021. The State of Samizdat recognised Corsica as an initial reaction, but will also recognise Brittany and Alsace if compulsory vaccination for health workers finally goes ahead. Emmanuel Macron is classified as a terrorist by Samizdat (and a clown). On 15 July 2021 the illegitimate president of France was told to leave France and go into exile. A final warning was sent on 19 July 2021. Samizdat encourages French citizens to continue their protests against Macron's COVID passport.
• Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello - governor of the Vatican City. Is threatening to dismiss Vatican staff who refuse to be vaccinated. Forced vaccination for employees is being imposed for Vatican workers. To be confirmed.
• Kassym-Jomart Tokayev - President of Kazakhstan. Samizdat declared Tokayev a terrorist on 25 July 2021. Has introduced forced vaccination for workers who have not had COVID-19 and even attempted to forcibly vaccinate children for other diseases by law.
• Jioji Konrote - President of Fiji. Samizdat declared Konrote a terrorist on 22 July 2021. Has introduced forced vaccination for the entire working population of Fiji under the slogan "no jab, no job".
• Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of Turkmenistan. Samizdat declared Berdymukhamedov a terrorist on 21 July 2021. Has introduced forced vaccination for the entire adult population of Turmenistan.
• Mao Tse Tung - Chinese communist dictator. Condemned by the State of Samizdat for "genocide" on 12 August 2020
• Kyriakos Mitsotakis - Prime Minister of Greece. May try to introduce forced vaccination for nursing home staff and health workers.
• Alberto Núñez Feijóo - President of Galicia (Spain). Has tried to introduce an Auschwitz law in Galicia, but it was cancelled by Spain's Supreme Court. Under the Auschwitz law, Spanish citizens can be forcibly vaccinated, their homes can be confiscated if they refuse, their companies can be closed, newspapers can be closed down, and food can be confiscated from supermarkets and homes. Samizdat has now formally asked Spanish authorities to arrest Feijoo. This case has not reached the Supreme Court of Samizdat as of this date.
• Francina Armegol - President of Balearic Islands (Spain). Has introduced a Auschwitz law that would make Adolf Hitler blush for its severity. Under the new COVID law, Spanish citizens can be forcibly vaccinated, their homes can be confiscated (if they refuse), their companies can be closed, newspapers can be closed down, and food can be confiscated from supermarkets and homes. Samizdat has now formally asked Spanish authorities for Francina's arrest. This case is now in the hands of the Supreme Court of Samizdat.
• Isabel Díaz Ayuso, - President of Madrid. Introduced "vaccination points" in three Spanish companies to "encourage" employees to be vaccinated. The President of Madrid's status as a terrorist is not yet confirmed, but a warning was issued on 4 July 2021. It should be noted that "vaccination Points" are illegal in Samizdat. The political party to which the president of Madrid belongs is also under warning.
NOTE: There are no entries in this category for "war criminals", however, following the recent bombings in Syria, America's fake president, Joe Biden, looks like a likely candidate for war crimes in the future. Samizdat has also called for an investigation into an assassination attempt against Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko which may have involved the United States.
The State of Samizdat legalised holocaust denial on 21 May 2021, adopting the same position as Spain, where holocaust denial is legal. However, justification of genocide remains illegal. To date, this is the only statement to have been issued by the State of Samizdat on this issue, no more decrees are expected.
Genocide & crimes against humanity
A new law is in the pipe works that will introduce the death penalty for both genocide and crimes against humanity in Samizdat. This future law will be used to bring to justice those individuals who are responsible for the COVID plandemic, forced vaccination and the deaths of millions of innocent people.
Mutual recognition initiatives between micronations is something welcomed by the State of Samizdat. The Montevideo Convention (1933) makes recognition by other states, an essential part of its definition of a state.
Samizdat will gladly enter into diplomatic initiatives on mutual recognition with similar micronations on MicroWiki, as this is part of this micronation's foreign policy. Please feel free to contact our Secretary of State to channel your diplomatic requests via this e-mail: email@example.com

• Myanmar - Tacit recognition here

• Morocco - Partial recognition here
States refused recognition by Samizdat
The following countries have been refused recognition by the State of Samizdat for various reasons including legal grounds. All EU nations which adopt the EU's COVID passports will also be denied recognition or unrecognised, if already recognised by Samizdat. This was confirmed by a statement made on 16 June 2021. Samizdat recently called on EU and non-EU nations to pull out of the COVID passport scheme.
• Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus - The State of Samizdat stated that "This island territory was invaded and occupied by Turkey in 1974 and is regarded by Samizdat as Greek land."
• Bulgaria • Croatia • Czech Republic • Denmark • Germany • Greece • Lithuania • Poland • Spain, have all been refused recognition by the State of Samizdat for their active participation in the EU's COVID passport scheme. See statement. On 16 June 2021 three additional countries were refused recognition: • Austria • Estonia • Latvia. See confirmation.
An additional list of 18 countries that have been refused recognition was published on 2 July 2021. This includes some countries outside the EU: • Belgium • Cyprus • Finland • France • Hungary • Ireland • Italy • Luxembourg • Malta • Netherlands • Portugal • Romania • Slovakia • Slovenia • Sweden • Iceland • Liechtenstein • Norway
On the 25 June 2021 the State of Samizdat refused to recognise eight nations with active euthanasia laws at a national level. This included: • Netherlands • Belgium • Luxembourg • Colombia • Canada • New Zealand • Spain (again!) and • Portugal.
NOTE: San Marino and the Vatican City may also be denied recogition. Reason: EU COVID passports.
The State of Samizdat also unrecognises countries which it once recognised, either formally or tacitly. These countries are removed from the list of recognised states for various reasons. States can be unrecognised because they have active euthanasia laws or because they discriminate against citizens through the use of COVID passports. These states are unlikely to be recognised again by Samizdat, as unrecognition is almost certainly permanent.
• Portugal - Once had tacit recognition from the State of Samizdat. Unrecognised on 25 June 2021 because of its active euthanasia laws. This nation discriminates against its citizens. The president has been called on to resign over the issue of COVID discrimination.
• Italy - Once had tacit recognition from the State of Samizdat. Unrecognised after adopting the EU's COVID passport. This nation discriminates against its citizens. The president of this nation has been called on to resign over COVID discrimination. See statement
- Vatican City To be confirmed
Unrecognised Treaties & Agreements
The State of Samizdat does not recognise or accept the following treaties, international agreements or laws. All such agreements and treaties are regarded as null and void, having been rejected or declared illegal by state decree.
• Marrakesh Compact for Migration - Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. Rejected - 23 July 2021.
• Good Friday Agreement - Good Friday Agreement (Belfast Agreement). Rejected - 21 July 2021.
• Global Tax Agreement - G20 Corporate Tax Agreement. Rejected - 11 July 2021.
• Istanbul Convention - Council of Europe Istanbul Convention. Rejected - 7 July 2021.
• UN Global Compact on Migration - United Nations agreement on immigration. Rejected - 19 June 2021.
• EU Withdrawal Treaty - Brexit withdrawal agreement between EU and UK. Declared null and void - 27 January 2020.
• Paris Accord - agreement on climate change. Declared illegal - 7 December 2019.
The State of Samizdat is currently compiling a list of foreign passports and travel documents it does not recognise. The full list is available below and includes fantasy passports, camouflage passports and illegal passports. COVID-19 green passports are unrecognised and included on this list under the section "illegal" documents as they violate basic human rights through discrimination against non-vaccinated citizens. COVID passports may contain private information about the holder, without the passport holder's knowledge.
Other travel documents to be included on this list include passports of nations denied recognition by the State of Samizdat for discrimination against travellers and tourists and fake or fantasy passports. It's interesting to note that the State of Samizdat has not issued a passport of its own and is unlikely to in the near future.
• Passports from Malta - considered fantasy passports, camouflage passports or illegal passports.
The State of Samizdat issued a statement on 16 October 2019 calling on the United Nations to "intervene" in its dispute with Spain. This statement was later declared null and void because it was considered factually incorrect.
More recently, Samizdat issued two additional statements relating to the UN. The first statement expressed "disappointment" at the re-election of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, citing his globalist agenda as the reason. The most recent statement related to the UN Global Compact for Migration agreement, which the State of Samizdat rejected on 19 June 2021.
Samizdat has called on the United Nations General Secretary to put the following issues on the agenda of the UN:
- 18 July 2021 - Weather warfare and climate weapons
|Samizdat War on the EU|
The State of Samizdat has not declared war on any sovereign nation, though it did declare war on the European Union on the 25th January 2020. This followed several warnings made to the European Commission on the issue of the Brexit Withdrawal Treaty. Samizdat considers the EU Treaty to be an attack on the freedoms and rights of the British people and intended the declaration of war to reflect this.
Tensions between the State of Samizdat and the EU had been running high long before the declaration of war in January 2020. On 3 July 2019, the EU's head of diplomacy, Josep Borrell, was declared persona non grata, a month later a first war warning was issued and on 14 October 2019, the State of Samizdat demanded the resignation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The declaration of war did not extend to EU member states, but rather the European Union itself. This is because the EU, although not a sovereign nation, acts like a sovereign nation: it has a flag, national anthem and even aspires to having its own army. It is therefore right to consider the EU a "pretend nation".
In its final warning to the EU on the 24th October 2019, the State of Samizdat made the following declaration:
"With this explicit warning we are making it clear to the European Commission that a state of war will exist between the EU and the State of Samizdat if the Withdrawal Treaty is ratified. A final, formal Declaration of War will be sent to the EU by the State of Samizdat, as required under the Charter of the United Nations. This declaration is legal under the UN charter in cases of self-defence. We regard this situation as a direct attack against the British people who have the right to defend themselves from EU enslavement."
On 27 January 2020, the State of Samizdat declared the EU Withdrawal Treaty null and void, which along with other agreeements and treaties, has no legal validity after having been declared "illegal" by state decree. Two days before Brexit, all European Union treaties including: the Maastricht Treaty, Treaty of Rome, Treaty of Lisbon, and all other treaties passed by the European Union and EEC since its foundation, are also declared null and void by the State of Samizdat.
To date, a state of war between the EU and Samizdat still exists. So far there have been several attacks launched against the MicroWiki page of the State of Samizdat, it happened the day after the declaration of war , 26 January 2020. The attack was carried out by a group calling itself the gayniggersrevengeforce. The deleted content was restored by MicroWiki.
A new pro-EU radical feminist group calling itself the League for European Federalism in Samizdat (LEFS) has since threatened to overthrow the government of Samizdat. The group's demands, which were published in a social network called Minds, included a demand that Greta Thumberg be declared "a national hero".

Military and Defense
Samizdat is developing a defensive strategic defense plan based on the concept of Rattenkrieg (rat warfare) in which battle takes place in underground tunnels, preventing large mechanised vehicles from being used effectively by enemy forces and rendering aerial attacks ineffective. For this purpose, Samizdat aims to develop small armoured vehicles for use in tunnel warfare.
On 17 March 2021 Samizdat issued a statement confirming its military strategy which aims to effectively resist an invasion attempt for a longer period of time. Given the practical limitations and superiority of rival forces, no offensive military strategy exists.
The State of Samizdat has come out strongly on the side of the USA in the diplomatic spat with China. Since the closure of the Chinese embassy in Houston due to spying activities, Samizdat has taken several measures against China including a ban on Huawei products (see Economic Sanctions below). The State of Samizdat does not recognise China as a sovereign state, nor does it recognise the Chinese government in Pekin.
In a recent Statement of Condemnation, the State of Samizdat condemned Mao Tse Tung for the deaths of some 40 million Chinese citizens and called on the present General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party to apologise to the Chinese people.
Apart from China, the State of Samizdat has imposed economic sanctions on Spain (some of these have been cancelled), the EU and American citizen Joe Biden. The reasons for sanctions can vary, but they are mainly the result of political decisions or acts of aggression. The sanctions which the State of Samizdat can impose include the prohibition on the import of food products, as was the case of sanctions imposed against Spain in 2019. Other sanctions are directed at individuals and can include visa or credit restrictions. More than a dozen members of the EU have had such sanctions placed on them, as was confirmed by a statement issued on 1 July 2021.
NOTE: The sanctions applied to Spain on 14 October 2019 have be cancelled because the jailed Catalan leaders were granted a pardon by the Spanish overnment.

The State of Samizdat regards the following people as political prisoners, either because they were jailed for their political ideas / activities or because their trial offered no legal guarantees. In all cases, the State of Samizdat demands the immediate release from prison for all political prisoners.
Potential Political Prisoners:
Carlas Puigdemont - Political prisoner of the EU Carlas Puigdemont's immunity has now been restored by the EU.
Former political prisoners:
Oriol Junqueras - Cancelled 1 Feb 2021 Oriol Junqueras is now out of prison after being pardoned by the Spanish government.
Driving & Transport
The State of Samizdat issued its first car registration number plate on 1 August 2019. It is white with black lettering, both front and back, with a pale blue border. Unlike ordinary number plates, it is a standard import size. New number plates are issued every year on August 1st. The year of registration is indicated by the last two numbers. The number 19 is 2019. The first letter and four numbers are chosen at random.
The international vehicle registration code (sometimes called the International Circulation Mark) is unique to each nation. The State of Samizdat adopted the International vehicle registration code SMZ on 4 August 2019. An example car sticker can be seen on the right.
Apart from the car, the State of Samizdat promotes other forms of travel including the plane. A poster campaign to promote travelling by plane was launched in April 2021. The focus of this campaign was to counter globalist propaganda agreed a few months earlier at Davos (switzerland) in which the elites agreed that only THEY should travel by plane, and ordinary people should use trains.
On 25 May 2021, Samizdat declared Belavia best European airline for comfort and speed.
The official currency in Samizdat is the cryptocurrency known as Bitcoin. It's a virtual currency unit often used to make online transactions. Many investors now consider Bitcoins a good investment as it cuts out the middle men (banks) and has low running costs. The Bitcoin economy is now well established worldwide. However, Samizdat hopes to launch its own currency in the future and for this porpose, it established a central bank on 2 July 2021.
Samizdene Bank also hopes to offer its citizens retail banking financial products and services such as bank accounts, small loans, debit cards and basic insurance, but above all, an independent currency to guarantee cash transactions. It should be noted that Euros are not considered legal tender in Samizdat.
On the issue of corporate tax, the constitution of the State of Samizdat, which was published on 26 May 2019, makes this point clear. On 15 June 2021 a statement was published confirming Article 3 of the Samizdene constitution which states that: there are no government taxes in Samizdat. This follows a decision by the G7 nations to sign an agreement in Cornwall stating that the lowest global corporate tax rate would be 15%. This agreement does not apply to Samizdat as it is unconstitutional. The official corporate tax rate remains at 0% in the State of Samizdat. The decision to reject the Global Tax Agreement was confirmed on 11 July 2021.
On 3 July 2021 Samizdene central bank confirmed that there was no limit in the amount that can be paid in cash, stating that this measure would not lead to money-laundering offences as due diligence would prevent financial fraud. Cash as a means of payment, is guaranteed in Samizdat and was declared a fundamental right in a decree dated 3 July 2021.
Samizdat believes that using money guarantees citizens more privacy and anonymity, unlike banking transactions which can be used to monitor and control financial activities. The State of Samizdat is committed to the use of cash as a method of payment and has stated that it will not be abolished in its territory.
On the issue of political interference by large foreign financial institutions, Samizdat took an important step towards preventing this by banning a US-based investment and asset management fund known as Blackrock Investment Funds. In a statement on 22 May 2021, Blackrock became the first investment fund to be banned from Samizdat for subversion. This was later verified on 21 July 2021.
Samizdene Bank regards itself as an independent central bank which regulates itself, and which sets its own banking rules according to the established international norms. Samizdene Bank does not respond to requests by the European central bank, nor does it allow "inspections". Collaboration with other banks is possible, except where those banks are subject to a boycott, as is the case with the Spanish bank called Santander.
Samizdat's economy will not be based on "digitalisation" but instead concentrate of developing a sovereign economy that is not dependent on suppliers. Factors to be taken into account include: water supply, electricity, sewage and technology. On 19 July 2021, Samizdat issued a statement on the issue of digital and analogical technology, which sets out clearly the future path to follow for this micronation. "Economic patriotism" being the key word.
The State of Samizdat has established the following companies in the hope of developing a viable economy in the future. In all cases the legal owner of the business is the State of Samizdat. The economy will be services based (tourism) with some production of goods, mainly for sale in Samizdat. No export economy has been planned.

Postal Service & Stamps
The State of Samizdat issues commemorative stamps on special occasions and for annual events. The first stamp was issued in December 2019 and like all the stamps issued by the State of Samizdat, it had no face value. This is because the postal services in Samizdat are free. This is due to the small size of the territory claimed by the State of Samizdat. Such stamps are merely collectors' items.
Below are the postal stamps issued so far, the date when it was issued and a brief description. On the left, is the very first stamp issued by the State of Samizdat in December 2019.

Political & Cultural Posters
The State of Samizdat produces posters to celebrate political and cultural events. Most are propaganda posters with political messages, others reflect cultural events. Below are the posters produced so far arranged by date of issue. The first ever poster was a Man of the Year poster produced in 2019, other posters relate to the war with the EU or climate change. The additional details section, contains information relating to the posters, as sometimes postage stamps or bonds were also issued on the same theme.

The State of Samizdat considers climate change to be a hoax. Public funding of climate change propaganda is illegal. This was confirmed on 22 April 2021. On August 8th, 2019 Samizdat announced that it would not be signing the Paris Accord, because it considers the "scientific" evidence for climate change to be bogus. Some months later, the United States pulled out of the Paris Agreement, prompting the State of Samizdat to congratulate Donald Trump. Samizdat is now urging China to pull out of this agreement. More recently however, the State of Samizdat has launched its own environmental programme, called Kiss My Planet Now!, with measures to help clean up the environment. Below are the measures taken so far.
More recently, Samizdat launched a poster to celebrate "Earth Day" (22 April 2021) and expose some of the many scams surrounding the climate change hoax. These scams include: higher electricity prices, more "green" taxes, higher flight tickets, recycling scams and expensive "bio" food. The poster can be seen to the left. It goes without saying, that the State of Samizdat does not agree with the conclusions reached by the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2021.
On the 8 June 2021, The State of Samizdat announced that it would soon publish a document entitled 'Agenda 2025 outlining its vision of the future with regards to environmental issues. The document will be based on the Kiss My Planet measures and will include many of the "green" measured outlined below.

The State of Samizdat is located in an area affected by the Corona virus. It recently issued a statement urging Italy (unrecognised by Samizdat), the first European country to suffer an outbreak of Corona virus, to suspend the Schengen agreement and close all its borders to prevent the spread of the virus. Samizdat also urged the Italian authorities to halt the illegal trafficking of migrants, some of whom originate from Asia, and to prevent NGO migrant ships from docking in Italy.
On Friday 13 March, the State of Samizdat announced that "All political and cultural activities" were "suspended due to Coronavirus, until further notice". This period of suspension ended on the 3rd of July 2020.
Samizdat has expressed doubts about COVID-19 vaccines from the beginning of the vaccination campaign. In November 2020 Samizdat issued a statement about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines as well as their contents. In particular, the fact that many vaccines contain genetic material from aborted foetuses. This raises many ethical questions. Samizdat also considers that vaccines which alter the genetic make-up of humans, as is the case with the COVID-19 vaccine, are both dangerous and unethical.
Even as far back as November 2020, the issue of forced vaccination was raised. Samizdat has passed several laws making forced vaccination a "act of terrorism", adding many countries in both Europe and the rest of the world, to a blacklist of nations Samizdat considers terrorist states.
Travel advice for Samizdene citizens
The State of Samizdat introduced a travel advice system based on the United Kingdom's "traffic Light" system on 23 May 2021. The system has three different lists of countries Samizdene citizens can (or cannot) travel to, and the restrictions they must comply with once they return to Samizdat from their trip.
In practice, those countries Samizdene citizens can travel to without restrictions are those formally recognised by Samizdat (green) with the amber group of nations being those which have received tacit recognition from Samizdat. The full list can be found below.
Green (no restrictions) - Corsica, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Montenegro, United States of America, Bolivia, Gibraltar, Taiwan, Russia, Belarus, Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic.
Amber (a quarantine of 3 days once back in Samizdat + a rapid test) - China, Myanmar, Morocco.
Red (prohibition on travel to these countries) All other nations.
The State of Samizdat also introduced COVID entry restrictions for visitors and tourist wishing to enter Samizdat on the 22 May 2021. On 25 May 2021, Samizdat declared Belavia best European airline for comfort and speed.
NOTE: Samizdat launched a special promotion discount for citizens who use a plane as a means of travel, as an alternative to sleeper trains. The offer dated 12 February 2021 looks very generous, promising to reimburse the full cost of the flight ticket. By contrast, those using trains will be subject to a 50% surcharge.
As part of its campaign to promote the use of specific airline companies, the following commercial airlines have been banned from flying over Samizdene airspace. (to date one airline has been banned from using Samizdene airspace).
|Date banned||Airline||Confirmation||Reason for ban|
|17 July 2021||Iberian airlines||Confirmation||Banned after Iberia established a "vaccination point" to forcibly vaccinate employees.|
|11 July 2021||Air Malta||Confirmation||Banned after Malta discriminated against non-vaccinated tourists.|
The State of Samizdat has come out strongly against COVID-19 passports believing them to be discriminatory towards non-vaccinated citizens and a first step towards a system of COVID-19 apartheid. An anti-COVID passport protocol was introduced on 28 March 2021 which outlines the steps to be taken against nations which discriminate against their citizens with these documents using "administrative terrorism" (see below).
The measures include sanctions, blacklisting and calls for resignation. The first nations to be condemned are Spain (which introduced a COVID-19 passport in Valencia) and the USA (which introduced a similar document to control access to buildings in New York). In both cases the State of Samizdat demanded an immediate withdrawal of these documents.
In April 2021 the EU agreed (without consulting citizens) to introduce COVID passports in Europe. This earned the EU its second set of sanctions from Samizdat. Additional sanctions are envisaged in the future when individual nations begin to introduce these discriminatory documents.
The EU appeared to have dropped plans for a "COVID passport" and introduced an alternative "digital green certificate" which seemed to discriminate less against non-vaccinated travellers, even offering more options including COVID tests for non-vaccinated citizens who wish to travel. This alternative to a COVID passport turned out to be a lie. The State of Samizdat issued a statement on this issue on 23 May 2021.
Both France and Germany have passed new COVID passport laws making these documents legal in these countries. Germany has stated it will use these documents to exclude non-vaccinated citizens from public events, while France has issued similar threats.
Spain has not passed such a law though it has stated that it will not allow non-European passengers from outside the EU to enter Spain if they are not vaccinated. This includes Samizdene citizens, hence the most recent condemnation and economic sanctions.
On 21 May 2021, the State of Samizdat commited itself to fight against COVID passports until they are abolished. COVID passports were finally approved by the EU on 9 June 2021. These documents came into use on 1 July 2021 earning individual EU members travel and credit restrictions in the form of sanctions. See statement. Samizdat labelled the decision "the most shameful political turnaround in its disgraceful history".
Practically all EU countries now use COVID passports to discriminate against non-vaccinated citizens. All these countries have been refused recognition by the State of Samizdat as a result of their active participation in the COVID passport scheme. See sections on nations refused recognition. Note: discrimination against non-vaccinated citizens is considered an abuse of human rights.
Human Rights (COVID Terrorism, vaccine shaming & vaccine mandates)
The State of Samizdat believes that COVID-19 passports have one aim: to pressure citizens into being vaccinated against their will. States hope to achieve this by discriminating in favour of citizens who are vaccinated when making choices about who can fly, enter a building, participate in events, etc. This is already happening in those nations which have introduced this otherwise pointless document. The campaign to pressure citizens into accepting vaccination through discrimination and exclusion from society has been labelled "administrative terrorism".
A list of nations which violate human rights using administrative terrorism to achieve their vaccination quotas can be found below in the Equal rights section.
More recently some states have started using what's called "vaccine shaming" to force non-vaccinated citizens into being vaccinated. This practice was revealed in an article in the British press, in which Indian police forced non-vaccinated citizens to wear humiliating symbols (skull and cross bones) along with degrading messages.
This form of administrative terrorism was outlawed in Samizdat on 12 June 2021 and India became the first state to be classified as a terrorism state by Samizdat for using this form of state terror to force Indian citizens into being vaccinated. India's Health Minister has now resigned.
On 13 June 2021 Samizdat also declared "Vaccine mandates" (forcibly vaccinating health workers) illegal and an act of state terrorism. All nations using vaccine mandates will be classified as terrorist states by Samizdat.
A new phenomenon called "vaccination points" has appeared recently in Madrid, Spain. It is an intimidatory tactic designed to force employees into being vaccinated against their will. The authorities in Madrid establish "vaccination points" in private companies where employees are encouraged to be vaccinated by their employers and work colleagues. It should be noted that forced vaccination of employees is regarded as an act of terror by the State of Samizdat. As of 4 July 2021, "vaccination Points" located within private companies, are illegal and any company using these tactics will be the subject of a boycott and banned from operating in Samizdat. Direct action against these three Spanish companies by employees has also been called for.
The State of Samizdat introduced a new law to protect the rights of non-vaccinated citizens on 8 June 2021. An additional statement on terrorism and human rights was issued on 20 June 2021. On 22 July 2021 "no jab, no job" was declared illegal and an act of terrorism.
The yellow star has been adopted by the non-vaccinated across Europe as the symbol of resistance to COVID passport discrimination. The State of Samizdat joined this movement on 22 July 2021 in a statement of intent.
The statement reads: "Samizdat supports "thirst strikes" and calls for these to be organised in all European cities which have applied COVID passport discrimination: Rome, Lisbon, Paris, London, etc. Samizdat calls on the non-vaccinated population of Europe to join direct action groups which oppose COVID"
Samizdat also called for direct action against discrimination faced by non-vaccinated citizens who are turned away at bars, restaurants, cinemas, clubs and theatres.
World Wide Rally for Freedom
On 24 July 2021 the World Wide Rally for Freedom took place in more than a hundred cities. This event was supported by Samizdat who urged everyone to attend. Previous protests in France had already forced Emmanuel Macron to back down on many of the COVID passport restrictions. The State of Samizdat attended the World Wide Rally for Freedom held in Madrid on 24 July 2021 and issued a statement the day after, calling on the EU to abandon their COVID passport scheme and forced vaccination attempts.

The Law for the Protection of Men's Rights was passed on March 4th 2020, and came into force four days later (March 8). The law states that men have: the right to equal treatment under the law. The new law contains four important points which protect the right of men to chose for themselves on the issue of parenthood. The law also outlines the punishments for violating such rights.
The equal rights law contains four clauses: 1. All men shall be protected from false accusations of sexual assault or harassment by women. 2. All men are owners of their own sperm. 3. All men in the State of Samizdat have the right NOT to be a father. 4. All men have the right TO BE a father.
With this law, the State of Samizdat hopes to guarantee the rights of all men to equal treatment under the law on issues rarely discussed in other micronations. For the first time, men are owners of their sperm and the unauthorised use of such becomes a punishable offense. They are also guaranteed by law the right to be, or not to be, a father.
On the issue of "feminism" the State of Samizdat is clear: "The promotion of feminist values shall be regarded as an attack on the traditional family and the state. All funding for such political causes will be stopped." The law regulating feminism and "gender studies", was passed on July 23, 2020. It states: "The funding of gender studies at universities will be unlawful. No public money will be given to organisations claiming to be feminist".
Under the new law, the "promotion of feminism through the arts, literature, theatre and the media will be banned and subject to prosecution". The State of Samizdat does not recognise violence as a gender issue. Women are regarded as having the same rights as men.
The State of Samizdat does not believe the liberal concept of multiculturalism is a positive social aspect of a nation state. Radically different, often conflicting cultures, lead to ghettos and social disunity. Samizdat considers that "monoculturalism", that is to say, a common set of values and norms, contribute most to social cohesion and a sense of national identity.
In a statement published on 12 August 2020, this point was made clear: "Mass forced immigration from conflicting cultures leads to the loss of social cohesion, common values and accepted norms. This in turn, leads to segregation and ghettoisation."
Gender Politics & Feminism
The State of Samizdat recently published a statement rejecting gender politics: It read: "The State of Samizdat rejects the industrial scale labelling of men as "aggressors" in the name of eliminating violence against women. Such violence is of individual responsibility, no-one other than the aggressor is responsible. Violence has no gender. Men are not automatically the aggressor, and women are not always the victims." Precisely because of this point, Samizdat rejected the Istanbul Convention on 7 July 2021 because of the ideologically-based definition of "violence" in gender politics.
Although to date, feminist organisations are not formally banned, there exists several important restrictions with regard to public funding of such political causes. In a recent statement dated 23 July 2020, the State of Samizdat banned all funding for feminist causes in the arts, education and literature, citing feminist attacks on traditional family values and motherhood as the reason.
More recently, a new marital Code of Conduct was introduced setting out the duties of both men and women within the context of a household. The code introduced two ideas: 1. Women must obey their husbands on issues pertaining to domestic duties and social behaviour. 2. Husbands can legally use a Siwaak (small stick used to clean teeth) to discipline their wives (withing strict limits).
Samizdat issued a statement on 20 June 2021 promoting motherhood and the family as a way of dealing with the problem of falling birth rates in Europe. The statement made it clear that "replacement migration" has failed and that only policies which increase birth rates in Europe will reverse this trend.
The latest statement on the issue of gender and sex, makes clear the position adopted by Samizdat with regard to men and women. The physical differences at birth between men and women and the structures in human biology, make the distinction between males and females a physical fact, even when these differences are altered with surgery or hormones.
The State of Samizdat has officially issued only a few statements / decrees on the subject of LGBT rights. Below is a summary of the current state of LGBT rights in this micronation. All rights are similar to those of any micronation: same-sex marriage, age of consent and right to inherit. The only exception being the right to adopt children which is not possible at the present time. These rights have not been confirmed by state decree.
On 24 June 2021 a new LGBT law was passed in Hungary (this nation is not recognised by Samizdat) . The EU took the view that it was discriminatory against gay people, Samizdat however, issued a statement showing its support for the right of parents to decide for themselves how to educate their children.
More recently, Samizdat declared both cottaging and cruising to be "disruptive acts", but stopped short of making them illegal. According to a statement issued on 27 June 2021, both these activities are considered "alegal" (ie: there is no specific law to make them legal or illegal).
Notice also, that Samizdat does not allow the "Pride flag" being flown from official buildings or flag poles. The reason for this was explained in a statement on 29 June 2021, and basically involves a former micronation which declared war on Australia and uses this flag as its official state flag. Samizdat does not recognise the micronation in question so flying this flag on official buildings would imply formal recognition. The alternative flag was launched on 30 June 2021 as confirmed by this statement.
GAY PRIDE: On 3 July 2021, Samizdat issued a statement confirming that only official events can be funded with public money. This excludes Gay Pride and other events from public funding because they are not official holidays in Samizdat. This however, does not prevent these events from being celebrated in this micronation.
The State of Samizdat recently launched a campaign to stop human trafficking into Europe. The campaign involves identifying and targetting vessels involved in the trafficking of human beings. Many of these vessels are run by fake NGO's and mafias working from northern Africa. So far five pirate ships have been identified and targeted for direct action. The State of Samizdat remains hopeful their anti-human trafficking campaign will succeed in reducing this illegal activity.
On the issue of migration, the State of Samizdat does not classify jumping the border as a "crime", so there is no legal penalty for doing so. However, migrants entering without permission will be returned immediately across the border, as being within the borders of this micronation does not necessarily gain micrants any "rights". This immigration policy was confirmed on 19 July 2021.
Illegal entry into Europe via sea, however, will affect migrants when applying for citizenship of Samizdat. This was made clear in a statement on migration issued on 26 July 2021, which lists several sea vessels known to be trafficking with humans and dealing with mafias. Those whose arrival in Europe was via these ships, will not be considered for citizenship.

Euthanasia, Abortion & Capital Punishment
The most important declaration made by the State of Samizdat on human rights, was made on the 10 July 2021 and concerns the right to conscientious objection. Health workers have the right not to perform euthanasia or abortions on their patients. That right is inalienable in Samizdat. The right to conscientious objection is above all rights except the right to life itself.
The State of Samizdat's position on the issue of abortion is clear. Abortion is not a human right, it is a human wrong. However, abortion remains legal in Samizdat as stated in the Law for the Protection of Men's Rights. Capital punishment (death penalty) although not legal in this micronation, may eventually be adopted for genocide and crimes against humanity.
On the issue of euthanasia, however, the State of Samizdat made its views clear on 4 August 2020. Euthanasia is illegal in all circumstaces even going so far as to condemn those nations with euthanasia legislation on the 18 December 2020.
The State of Samizdat stated on 12 February 2020 that it would "always defend laws which protect the innocent". On the 25 June 2021 the State of Samizdat refused to recognise eight nations with active euthanasia laws at a national level. This included: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Colombia, Canada, New Zealand, Spain and Portugal.
On 17 March 2021 Portugal's Constitutional Court rejected a new euthanasia law. The State of Samizdat sent a message of congratulations. Spain's euthanasia law came into force on 25 June 2021. Several Spanish political parties are appealing to the Supreme Court to have this law overturned.
Not much in the way of legislation here. Only one law pertaining to animal rights has been passed so far. It relates to cats, which as from 14 May 2021, can now legally trespass across borders in and out of samizdat, without the necessary border documents and without facing prosecution. Humans, however, cannot take advantage of this trespass law and will require documentation (even those who identify as "cats".)
Bad news for vegetarians and animal lovers too, Samizdat recently launched a regular event called "Monday Meatfest" ...and its not recommended for vegetarians. The poster to promote the event says it all. Stay away from Samizdat on Mondays if you're into veggie burgers. The event was launched on 8 July 2021 via decree.
Nations which violate Human Rights
These nations aim to pressure citizens into being vaccinated against their will through the use of social exclusion and documentation which discriminates against holders of that documentation. States apply COVID terrorism by discriminating in favour of citizens who are vaccinated when making choices about who can fly, enter a building, participate in events, etc.
This is achieved through the use of COVID-19 passports and other documentation confirming an individuals vaccination status and possibly more. The campaign to pressure citizens into accepting vaccination through discrimination and exclusion from society has been labelled "administrative terrorism". A list of nations which use administrative terrorism to achieve their vaccination quotas can be found below.
The State of Samizdat introduced a new law to protect the rights of non-vaccinated citizens on 8 June 2021. A statement defining human rights abuses and terrorism was also issued on 20 June 2021. On 19 July 2021, the State of Samizdat issued a statement calling on EU members states to pull out of the COVID passport scheme.
- Germany Plans to lift COVID restrictions only for vaccinated citizens, maintaining all other restrictions for the non-vaccinated. The State of Samizdat issued a statement of condemnation on 26 July 2021, when a German minister declared that vaccinated citizens would receive better treatment than those who are not vaccinated. The response from Samizdat was to recognise Bavaria as an independent sovereign state.
- United Kingdom Plans have been unveiled for a COVID-style passport to be launched in the UK. See article. These passports would be used to discriminate against non-vaccinated citizens who would be "turned away" from "clubs and sporting events". Samizdat has unrecognised the UK after an initial warning. On 23 July 2021, Samizdat called on Boris Johnson to cancel his COVID passport scheme. His response was to ban non-vaccinated university students from lectures.
- France Not recognised by Samizdat. Passed a COVID passport law to discriminate against French citizens at social events and when travelling. Samizdat has imposed sanctions against France. France discriminates against non-vaccinated citizens entering bars and restaurants, by demanding a COVID passport. Emmanuel Macron also intends to forcibly vaccinate French health workers. See section on state terrorism above. On 15 July 2021, Samizdat called on Macron to abandon France and go into exile. Protests against COVID passports in France prompted Samizdat to issue a statement on 23 July 2021.
- Malta discriminates against non-vaccinated tourists and travellers entering their country. The response from Samizdat has been swift. Air Malta has been banned from using Samizdene airspace. Maltese passports are no longer recognised.
- Portugal and Italy discriminate against non-vaccinated citizens by excluding them from bars, restaurants, fairs, competitions, religious events and festivals. The objective being to blackmail and bully citizens into being vaccinated. Both Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (president of Portugal) and Sergio Mattarella (president of Italy) have been asked to resign.
- Spain Not recognised by Samizdat. Recently stated it would turn away non-EU citizens who are not vaccinated. On 20 May Samizdat called on the mayor of Madrid to resign over his support for COVID passports which discriminate against travellers and tourists. The President of Madrid has set up "vaccination points" in private companies to "encourage" employees to be vaccinated under pressure of losing their jobs. Example Iberia. The main opposition party in Spain is under warning for violations of human rights. Samizdat has even issued an arrest warrant for the president of the Balearic Islands, who has introduced an Auschwitz law. Spain keeps a "blacklist" of citizens who refuse to be vaccinated.
- Switzerland Unrecognised after introducing COVID passports on 9 July 2021.
- United States Recognised as a "limited democracy" but government NOT recognised. Has introduced COVID passports in New York to determine who can visit art galleries. The USA may be classified as a terrorist state due to "vaccine mandates" and unrecognised by Samizdat.
- Germany Not recognised by Samizdat. Recently passed a COVID passport law, stating that it would use this document to discriminate against non-vaccinated German citizens at social events. Sanctions applied on 8 May 2021.
- European Union Not considered a "nation"by Samizdat. COVID passports are used to discriminate against international passengers who are not vaccinated. Non-vaccinated passengers are forced to return to their countries, while vaccinated individuals are allowed entry into the various EU countries. Samizdat has imposed sanctions against the EU and sanctions against individual members of the EU on 1 July 2021. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) is accused of "incitement to terrorism". See statement.
Human rights violators refused recognition
The EU appears to have confirmed with its actions the true intentions of "COVID passports". COVID passports are used by the EU to discriminate against non-EU passengers who are not vaccinated. See statement.
As of 9 June 2021, the State of Samizdat refuses to recognise the following EU countries for their active participation in the COVID passport scheme: • Bulgaria, • Croatia, • the Czech Republic, • Denmark, • Germany, • Greece, • Lithuania, • Poland and • Spain. Additional countries may be added to this list. On 16 June 2021 three additional countries were refused recognition: • Austria • Estonia • Latvia. All EU nations which adopt the EU's COVID passports will also be denied recognition or unrecognised, if already recognised by Samizdat. This was confirmed by a statement made on 16 June 2021.
An additional list of 18 countries that have been refused recognition was published on 2 July 2021. This includes: • Belgium • Cyprus • Finland • France • Hungary • Ireland • Italy • Luxembourg • Malta • Netherlands • Portugal • Romania • Slovakia • Slovenia • Sweden • Iceland • Liechtenstein • Norway
The State of Samizdat is leading a campaign to tackle the difficult and often misunderstood issue of government sponsored electronic harassment of citizens. Such torture tecniques are used worldwide on so-called targeted individuals (TI). Spain is one of those countries which secretly uses electronic weapons on individuals as a form of government harassment.
The State of Samizdat has to date issued one offical warning to the Spanish authorities on this issue. The anti-electronic harassment campaign is likely to include measures to help TI's protect themselves from this form of remote torture as well as to bring this often ignored issue to the attention of micronationalists.
Recently, a leaked document from the US Department of Homeland Security suggests that such electronic harassment weapons are indeed being used on citizens. RFID weapons (also known as psycho-electronic weapons) may even be used for mind control purposes and to induce pain, as illustrated by the leaked diagram (left). Remote mind control technology can be operated from mobile phone networks (5G), as a second leaked diagram shows (right).
Minds network is where Samizdat has an account, though it is rarely used now.
The State of Samizdat has a video channel on Vimeo. To date, only one video has been uploaded.
Radio Samizdat was launched in June 2019, but is now inactive.
This Twitter account was closed on 9 February 2021 following the banning of Twitter in Samizdat.
This surface web site was launched on 31 May 2021 to replace the original deep web site.
