The Secretariat for Statistical Research, also known for its acronym SSR is a body of the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM) responsible for the collection, analysis and publication of data from GUM full members and observers, as well as other micronations. It was created on 31 July 2016 as the Statistics Secretary's Office, a one-person post with similar goals as that of the modern SSR. The office became a multi-member, multi-task secretariat on 1 May 2017, following reforms spearheaded by Statistics Secretary Tarik Kârjasary.
