The University of Ponderosa Hills, also known as UPondo, is the flagship public research university of Ponderosa Hills.
History
The University was established by Presidential Decree 2021-16, which made Leon Montan the interim Chancellor of the school; a day after its foundation, the Royal Centre of Learning, a Lacuran institute de facto operating in Great Oak, Johannistan, was absorbed into the university. That same day, the University was divided into two colleges, the College of Social Sciences and the College of Applied Sciences.
On 9 November, Sixy Montan University, named after the Chancellor's cat, was absorbed into the University via an ordinance of the City of Arastraville. Sixy Montan University was established as Qaseem Soleimani University on 14 September 2020, being renamed 2 weeks later. Between then and its absorption, it remained inactive.
