The Province of Columbia (formerly the United States of Columbia) is a province of the Praetorian Prefecture of Americania and Australasia, an administrative division of the Empire of Imvrassia. Its capital district, the State of Love, is located in Melbourne, Australia.
History
On 16 February 2022, a user by the name Kingdom of Columbia uploaded a flag and seal of a micronation having the name United States of Columbia or Kingdom of Columbia. The flag is based on the United States flag but with three fleurs-de-lis in the canton, whole the seal has two sides: one featuring a crowned eagle displayed and bearing an escutcheon based on the flag, while the reverse side of the seal features a lion holding in its right paw a sword all all within a wreath and ensigned by a crown and supported by a matron (based on Wikimedia user Sodacan's rendition of the former New Zealand coat of arms) and a soldier (based on a heraldic supporter drawn by Wikimedia user Fenn-O-Matic). On 11 December 2022, the flag of the State of Love, a presumed state of the micronation, was uploaded by Sebastokrator Daniel, praetorian prefect of Americania and Australasia. On 17 January 2023 the Empire of Imvrassia annexed the nation as a province of the Praetorian Prefecture of Americania and Australasia.
Although the annexation was for the purpose of acquiring the American-style flag and seal design, the province was initially based in Melbourne, Australia, the home of Daniel. On 20 October 2023, Daniel, as praetorian prefect, announced the province will now have jurisdiction in the Americas, while the province of Eleftheria, originally created for North America, will now have jurisdiction in Australasia.
