The United Socialist Party of Etukan, also known as the United Socialist Party or by its acronym as USP is one of the two major parties in Etukan's High Council. It was founded by the leaders of Etukan's Anarcho-Communist Party and the Etukara Socialist Party when the two parties merged on the 28th of September, 2020. The party has consistently served as the primary opposition to the Social Liberal Party in Etukan's High Council as it's second-largest party since it's inception.
In the July 2021 elections, Patrick Biltoft was the USP's candidate to be Etukan's first State Chancellor. He won the election with 35% of the vote, and was confirmed by the High Council despite the Liberal-Labour coalition having the power to block his inauguration and call new elections. In the week following his election, Biltoft formed his cabinet, consisting of members from all major parties, including three United Socialists.
Leadership
The United Socialist Party of Etukan has no party constitution or properly defined form of internal organization. The leader of the party is often simply referred to as the "leader" or the "chairman", and has had all authority within the party since the founder of the Anarcho-Communist Party retired from politics in 2021. Initially, authority within the party was shared between Biltoft and Kydan Ostin, the leaders of the two merged parties, but since Ostin's retirement, all authority has rested solely with Biltoft.

State Chancellor Elections
In the first-ever elections for the position of State Chancellor in the July 2021 elections, Patrick Biltoft declared his candidacy, serving as one of the two primary candidates, alongside the SLP's Robert Moreton. Biltoft would end up beating Moreton with a single vote, and by the deadline for votes to be accepted at 9:00 am on the 1st of August, he had received the plurality of votes. He would be confirmed by the High Council later in the day, and his cabinet would be confirmed by the Emperor of Etukan the next week.

Provincial Elections
In all provincial elections the SLP has participated in, their candidate has not been contested, with the single exception of the July 2021 Elections in Kurrigal.
July 2021
Patrick Biltoft's seat was contested in the July 2021 Elections by the conservative military leader Connor Ikin, who had formed the economically conservative and centre-right Etukan National Party, also known as Anhica. Biltoft ended up winning the election, largely thanks to his connections in the province.
