History

The Union of Micronational Monarchies was officially established on 11 December 2015, by the Great Kingdom of Sexistan and the Kingdom of Coria.

Timeline

2015

  • 11 December 2015 - Union of Micronational Monarchies was founded.
  • 14 December 2015 - The Kingdom of Serbica, Kingdom of Mixeria and the Kingdom of Astaronia were accepted as the third, fourth and fifth members, respectively.
  • 15 December 2015 - First Presidential Elections of UMM.

How it works

Every member is free to send an email to the Union of Micronational Monarchies, proposing a law to be applied in all the official members or discuss about something of important. The Union of Micronational Monarchies will answer on talk-page of MicroWiki article. If referendum is needed, it can be granted just from Incumbent Secretary General.

Requirements for can be an official member

  • 1 The nation must claims real land in Earth planet; the Union of Micronational Monarchies doesn't accept fictional places or Micronations situated in other planets;
  • 2 Micronation which wants membership in Union of Micronational Monarchies needs to be constitutional monarchy;
  • 3 In cases of two Micronations claiming the same land (also just a little part in common), the Union of Micronational Monarchies accepts as official member only the Micronation that claimed that part of land for first;
  • 4 If an official member declares war at another micronation/organization/recognised Country, the incumbent Chairman(s) of the Union of Micronational Monarchies has/have the right to can apply an expulsion act against the Micronation(s) that declared war;
  • 5 If an official member violates human rights in every form (religion, citizenship, ect...), the incumbent Chairman(s) of the Union of Micronational Monarchies has/have the right to can apply an expulsion act against the Micronation(s) that did it.

If a Micronation fulfils these requirements, is necessary to send an email to the UMM giving these following details:

  • Full name of the Micronation;
  • Area claimed;
  • Population;
  • Currency(ies);
  • Capital(s);
  • Language(s);
  • Head(s) of State;
  • Official flag;
  • Official page on MicroWiki and/or official website;
  • Official email address.

Cases of loss of membership

During time, a member can lose its membership inside the Union of Micronational Monarchies because the following reasons:
• A member can lose membership if isn't more active;
• A member can lose membership if doesn't contact more the Union of Micronational Monarchies after 4 months;
• A member can lose membership if keeps an aggressive/offensive behaviour about the Union of Micronational Monarchies;
• A member can lose membership if contacts the Union of Micronational Monarchies asking to don't be more a member;
• A member can lose membership if introduces laws in its Micronation that damage every kind of the human rights.

In all these cases, is/are the incumbent Chairman(s) of turn of the Union of Micronational Monarchies that decide(s) for an expulsion act.

Union of Micronational Monarchies Policy

The main objectives of the Union of Micronational Monarchies are:

  • Keep peace and security between members;
  • Promote the solution to the international disputes and peacefully resolve situations that could lead to a breach of the peace;
  • Develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equality between states and self-determination of peoples;
  • Promote economic and social cooperation;
  • Promote respect for the human rights and fundamental freedoms for the benefit of all individuals;
  • Promote respect for international law and to encourage the progressive development and its codification.
