The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums (UDROR) is a strongly democratic state and member of the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations. They are also the founders of the Organisation of Democratic Territories.

The nations approach to democracy has many nations including the Arstotzkan Union concerned that their "hyper-democracy" has turned the nation backwards into an almost authoritarian democracy where its civilians are forced into accepting the democracy of the Government. Some nations have seen the countries approach to democracy as one similar to the Soviet Union and Oceania from 1984. Well functioning as the strongest democracy in the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations, it is also one of the least democratic states in the TCM.

Nova Roma

Nova Roma was the micronational state that preluded the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. Being founded in 2021, the now historical empire of antiquity serves as the Roman Empire does towards modern day Italy. The state of Nova Roma was a hyper-authoritarian military state known for taking slaves as well as openly and proudly committing war crimes. The Nova Roman empire eventually died out from obscurity and inaction on part of their leader.

Election Leader Tristen has said "Once The Great Referendum has been held, every vote cast and counted, all of life, its struggles, its joys and its very existence shall be redefined into what is fit, the wheel will finally cease its turning, and we shall all be free and fair."

The wheel, is and undefined object/person and/or concept that quote "continues to turn". Election Leader Tristen has stated "as long as the wheel turns, evil and suffering shall continue to exist, it is the nature of The Great Referendum to end the wheels turning to benefit all mankind, through any means necessary." The wheel is the spiritual opposition of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums, acting as the anti-thesis of the Ideals of Democracy. It is believed that a synthesis can only be brought about through a combination of strictly following of these ideals, committing oneself to hard labor and through frequent cleansing of non-democratic individuals. Once a synthesis is brought about only then can The Great Referendum be held.

Election Leader Tristen

The current head of state in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums, Election Leader Tristen assumed leadership of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums on the 3rd of August 2022. Election leader Tristen created the nation with the goal of ensuring that the system of governance would be the most democratic system possible. Upon the founding of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums the nation joined the Coalition of United Micronations, a coalition of micronations based in Tauranga that the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums is still part off.

This territory is the main seat of power of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. It is the residence of Election Leader Tristen and acts as the administrational center of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums, it is also the nations capital.

Government and politics

The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums has decided upon a system of what is referred to as "Intense Kafkaesque referendum based democracy with cold-war era neoconservative characteristics" and all the citizens of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums pride themselves on being the most democratic of all the Tauranga Micronations. This current system requires a referendum to be held for entirely everything, including any speech, movements and thoughts (it is worth noting that these referendums regarding any personal actions such as the ones previously listed require only one vote, the vote of the person attempting to carry out these actions.) All political statements and actions rely upon referendums, in which every member of the nation is required to participate in. Currently most political stances of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums relies on many pending referendums, as the people of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums still need to have many referendums to properly decide if we really want to participate in those referendums. Many more referendums need to be taken to properly decide if the referendums regarding whether or not the people necessarily want to participate in the referendums previously listed, want to participate in a referendum in order to decide if a referendum to partake in the referendums is required. It is worth noting than while normally all members of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums are legally required to participate in all referendums, either of the election leaders are capable of holding a referendum with as many people as they please, including solely themselves, these types of referendums are still to be passed as any other referendum that has followed normal procedure.

The Hyper Democratic Peoples Party

The Hyper Democratic Peoples Party is the current ruling party of UDROR. The Hyper Democratic Peoples Party , commonly referred to as "The Party", is the sole party in the nation of UDROR. Although UDROR is a single party state, The Hyper Democratic Peoples Party describes itself as a "Directly democratic big tent party that works to meet the needs of each citizen in the nation, as such only one party is needed. Due to the nature of UDROR, there is no need for a house of commons, parliament or senate of any kind, as the frequent number of referendums ensure that the desires of the citizens are adequality met."

Members of the nation

The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums currently has four civilians, one Democratic Indigenous and Maori peoples representative, one Civilian Representative, one Democratic Legal Administrator, one Democratic Lieutenant, one Democratic Business and Enterprise Administrator and one Election Leader.

Civilians have no roles other than legally having to participate in every referendum (bar election leaders decisions to say otherwise).
The Democratic Indigenous and Maori peoples representative is tasked with voicing the opinions of all Indigenous and Maori peoples in the territories of UDROR.

Nathaniel Smithsonian is currently acting Civilian Representative. He is in common congenial contact with Election Leader Tristen. Smithsonian is an infamously private individual, his job is blend in with civilians and keep Election Leader Tristen up to date on the goings-on in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. He acts as Election Leader Tristen's earpiece on the citizenry class; keeping our mighty leader humble.
The Democratic Legal Administrators main duty is to decide on all laws to be held in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. The Democratic Legal Administrator must get approval from any Election Leader if they wish to pass a law. The Election Leader will then propose a law in a referendum to decide if it is necessary.
The Democratic Lieutenant is the second in command over the Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR, the Election Leader is the official chief of command.

The Election Leader runs all referendums in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. They are capable of vetoing any and all referendums as they please, determining all laws and deeming anyone of "failing to uphold the democratic values of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums."

Legal system

The legal system reflects the democratic values of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. All court proceeding are held in public, with every member of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums being required to attend. No lawyers or judges are permitted in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums as Election Leader Tristen has determined lawyers and judges to be quote "Undemocratic". Invoking the 13th Democratic Ideal is also a possible action on part of any individual who is being accused or accusing another party, the 13th Ideal allows this individual to win back their freedom by trial of combat.

Law Enforcement

The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums entrusts all of its peacekeeping and law enforcement tasks with the Ministry of Liberty. The Ministry of Liberty's main task is to uphold the democratic values of the nation and punish any person deemed as failing to uphold the ideals of democracy. Election leader Tristen further stated that "all citizens of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums should inherently know what is and is not democratic, seeing as the ideals of Democracy are the basis of all legal rights in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums."

Non-Democratic individuals

Non-Democratic individuals aka Arbiters of the wheel are former citizens of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums who have failed to uphold the Democratic ideals. Citizens who are found to be guilty of violating the Ideals have their citizenship revoked, allowing the Ministry of Liberty to also revoke their rights to freedom of speech, movement, assembly, education, shelter, food, water etc. Non citizens who are found guilty are immediately registered as being Arbiters of the wheel. As of right now, the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums has no non-democratic individuals, but in the case of any being found out they are make up the main workforce of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums in what the Ministry of Liberty refers to as "permanent unpaid labour." Non-Democratic individuals are carry out this form of labor in government designated work camps. Extreme cases of failure to uphold the Democratic Ideals shall result in public execution and ritual cleansing.

Election leader Tristen assumed leadership of the Coalition of United Micronations on the 1st of January 2023 yet resigned on the 24th of October 2023. The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums is also part of a unitary alliance consisting of what it agrees to be "Nations that properly uphold the Ideals of Democracy". This faction is otherwise known as The Organisation of Democratic Territories (abbreviated ODT). The ODT has tasked itself with the maintenance and protection of democracy worldwide. The ODT consists of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums, The Ultra Democratic Client State of Belgium, the Ultra Democratic Client State of Nebraska and the Ultra Democratic Client State of Montana. Previously known as the The Ultra Democratic Client State of North-east America, the now, Undemocratic rogue state of North-east America (URSNEA) is currently at war with UDROR and the ODT after the leader of URSNEA denounced Election Leader Tristen and threated to kill him over a personal dispute.

Military

Upon the 22nd of August 2022 the first official branch of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums was founded. This branch is aptly named the "Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR". The military operates under the command of Election Leader Tristen. The branches main focus is to quote "Uphold the Democratic values of the Nation until death". The Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums is currently in a war of succession against the Undemocratic rogue state of North-east America known as the Democratic war of succession.

Democratic Youth Wing of the DAF

The Democratic Youth Wing of the DAF is the official youth branch of the Democratic Armed Forces. The purpose of the branch is to promote patriotism and militarism among the youth of the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. Members of the Democratic Youth Wing of the DAF are to act as regular military personnel in war.

Reclamation of former territory - 25th August 2022

The Reclamation of former territory occurred on the 25th of August 2022 and resulted in a stalemate between the insurgency forces referred to as "the empire of him" and the combined forces of the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade and the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums.

Operation: Sea Rodent - 28th of August 2022

On the 28th of August 2022, part of the Greater Commonwealth - Empire war, Operation: Sea Rodent was a clandestine military operation conducted by the joint forces of the Philosostan Volunteer Brigade and the Democratic Armed Forces of UDROR. The goal of the operation was to place the rat island territory claimed by insurgents under control of the AFT and UDROR Co-governance scheme. The operation resulted in a decisive PVB and DAF-UDROR victory.

The Democratic Arts Society is the national authority on all arts in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums. It is the main seat of creativity in the nation . The DAS is responsible for promoting creative excellence in the Ultra Democratic Republic of Referendums as well as creating arts itself. As of right now, the DAS is well known for its artistic pursuits such as the creation of various poems and a singular play titled "Dear Dmitri". The DAS is also currently working on another play titled "Achilles, Come Down".
