The Republic of Thulicia, commonly referred to as Thulicia, is a self-proclaimed sovereign nation known as a Micronation by external observers located in the United Kingdom. The nation formed and proclaimed independence on 21 September 2022.
History
The republic was established on 21 September 2022. The nation has described itself as secessionist since it was established.
Government and Politics
Thulicia is de jure a semi-presidential republic, with provisions in place for a working and efficient bicameral parliament consisting of a Senate and National Assembly as legislature as well as a Supreme Court for the judiciary. However the nation is de facto under a dictatorship.
The President, as head of state, wields significant power under the current political system. They are aided by the Prime Minister, who sits as head of government, and the cabinet. The PM typically chairs the cabinet, however they can request that the duty of cabinet chair be carried out by the President.

As well as this Armed Forces Day is celebrated on 26 September - celebrating the foundation of the armed forces and their service to the nation.
National Symbols
The primary national symbol of the republic is the national flag. It consists of three stripes of black, red and green. The red represents the people, the black represents the government and the green represents national culture.
Centrally on the flag sits a golden frigatebird. It represents hope, as well as being the national animal.
The other primary national symbol is the national coat of arms. It is Portuguese inspired.
Defence
The primary defence forces of the nation are the Armed Forces. They are commanded by the President, as Commander-in-Chief, the Chief of Defence Staff and other branch chiefs of staff.
