The His Majesty The King's Guard Force or The Supreme Head's Guards Forces is a separate military unit from the Queensland Army, formerly known as 2nd Battalion of the Governor-General Guards, it was established to protect Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Queensland and protector-general. It was renamed Queenslandian Royal Foot Guards after Queensland removed Queen Elizabeth II from the Queensland throne.

History

The Royal Guards of Queensland was established in 2015 on the recommendation of the government to protect the monarch and royal family. Its characteristics and training schemes are drawn from the Hans Majestet Kongens Garde and the Royal Guard of Oman.

2nd Battalion of the Governor-General Guards

After the national is Independence, the army was established Governor-General Guards to have the duty to protect the sovereign nation and its representatives. On 13 January 2016, the government announced the end of Queen Elizabeth II's status in Queensland and elevated Governor-General Philip as the country's new monarch. After that, on 16 January 2016, the name was announced from the 2nd Battalion of the Governor-General Guards to His Majesty The King's Guard, known as the Royal Guards.

His Majesty The King's Guard

It was later renamed His Majesty The King's Guard, the Army established this unit's service policy and adjusted its status as part of the Queensland Army. His Majesty The King's Guard fought in several wars, the most notable of which was the War of Luna San Sino, the most notable operation in this guards, In that incident, someone smuggled into the kingdom at night caused clashes in the country.

On 4 October 2021, the Armed Forces announced that His Majesty The King's Guard had been officially disbanded. After serving for a long time and the current mission of this unit is inconsistent with today's defense of the country.

Infantry Regiment

On 8 December 2021, Armed Forces announced that His Majesty The King's Guard had officially returned, It will receive status Infantry Regiment and joining the Army and on 26 December, there was an official Presentation of New Banner to this regiment.

His Majesty The King's Guard Force

On 30 November 2022, the Armed Forces announced that His Majesty The King's Guard had been elevated to the status of a "Force", raising it to the equivalent of a force and covering duties ranging from protecting the sovereignty of the nation to protect the citizens of the nation.

Concept

The Royal Guards of Queensland are simply an infantry unit. "Only protect the King, the kingdom and the people, not the government or the Parliament," and this kind of statement is widely used in the military to remind itself that They are only responsible for protecting the nation and the King and the people. It is not used to protect the government or parliament. Because of the violation of the Constitution of the Kingdom of 2018, Article 310, paragraph 5, states that "Royal Queensland Armed Forces is an agency directly to the Ministry of Defense. All of the Royal Queensland Armed Forces duties are solely on the Chief of the Defense Staff. It is neither the Prime Minister of the Kingdom nor the Minister of Defense, and the Royal Queensland Armed Forces have three functions:

  • 1. Protect the Kingdom with joy,
  • 2. Protect the King with joy, and
  • 3. Protect the people with love and joy".
This is a constant reminder to the soldiers that "The Armed Forces should not be bound by politics"
