Documentation

This is the template used by the Series project, but it can be used for many types of long lists. It possesses the following attributes:

seriesimage: an image on the left of the box that automatically recentres itself vertically when lists are expanded and collapsed. It is suggested that the image posess the |64px attribute. If this attribute is left undefined, the template will attempt to guess an appropriate image to use. This tends to result in an ‘i’ in a blue circle in most cases.
seriestitle: will define x in the ‘This article is part of a series on x.’ text on the box.
listn: the title of one of the lists in the box. n should be substituted for a natural number between one and eight inclusive.
Technical limitation: this template allows a maximum of eight collapsible lists. If you require more lists than this, contact Michael Sanders with the number of lists you require and he will expand the template to suit.
listn-m: an single entry in a list. n should be the number of the list containing the entry, and m a natural number between one and twelve inclusive. For example, the first entry in the third list in a box will be list=list3-1.
Technical limitation: this template allows a maxium of twelve entries per list. If you require more entries per list than this, contact Michael Sanders with the number of entries you require and he will expand the template for you. 8 lists × 12 entries means that a total of 96 items can be contained in this template.

All attributes are optional except for {{{seriestitle}}}, {{{list1}}}, and {{{list1-1}}} The template is still undergoing beta testing. It is believed that most problems have been identified and corrected, but if you encounter any difficulties using it, do not hesitate to contact Michael Sander. If you wish to make experimental edits to this template, please use the alpha version.
