The Republic of Bonumland enjoys several holidays, including traditional holidays such as New Years' Day and national holidays such as Bonumland Day. Holidays in Bonumland are designed to cater to the likes of all Bonumlandians in the spirit of religious observance. These include not recognizing religious holidays such as Christmas and Easter, although breaks are scheduled around these holidays for citizens who do wish to celebrate.

National symbols of Bonumland typically involve the colors blue and green. The royal standard does not follow this color scheme as it is meant to be representative of the monarch and not of the nation. The national animal is the eagle, which represents inspiration, victory, pride, and royalty.
