The Standewehr Military Tribunal is a trial for Military personnel of Aristan. This style of trial is only used for military personnel and therefore cannot be on trial by the regular judicial system.

The tribunals are run by the Standewehr high command and are known to be quick and harsh in punishment. The Standewehr conducts its own tribunals due to the military nature of punishment.

Reasons for its use

The Tribunals are meant for when there is no time to have a proper judicial hearing and court. They are commonly associated in use during military actions and usually result in harsh punishment for the accused individual.

A reason for its use could be disobedience to a order or regular crimes committed while in the service of the Standewehr.

The Tribunals have been associated with kangaroo courts and are known to commonly be used on political opponents and any criminal of the state. Especially used during cases that involve treason.

The tribunals are also used for awarding Standewehr members with medals.

Cases

A odd case of its use was on first president of the nation. Due to his lack of participation and neglect of the presidential seat, as well as traitorous talk during his term. He has been excommunicated from the state decided by a Standewehr Military tribunal. The use of the tribunal was under the current presidents orders. The ex-presidents official excommunication was in June 2019 and has since been striped of any and all titles, citizenship, and positions in government.
