Soviet Bear is the most important television personality in the Kingdom of Wyvern. Presumably born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the bear was soon acquired by the Royal Family for King Quentin I. In his early years, Soviet Bear was a staunch supporter of laissez-faire capitalism and was often seen in a custom-made shirt showing American sports. However, when he started reading about the world around 2009, his views started changing dramatically. At that time, he held the position of General of the Wyvern Army. In early 2010, he founded the Communist Party of Wyvern, although this party never entered elections and was usually seen as a joke by more experienced politicians. There are reasons to believe that Soviet Bear wanted to overthrow the democratic government of the Kingdom of Wyvern in a coup. For an unkown reason, arguably because of his military influence, he was replaced as General of the Wyvern Infantry when the Wyvern Army branches were merged in terms of ranks in 2010. He went on to find a position as head of Wyvern Television, the propaganda channel of the Wyvern Government. In 2011, Soviet Bear ran as a candidate in the Wyvern Puppet Council Elections 2011.
Responsibilities
As the head of Wyvern Television, Soviet Bear is responsible for the content and presentation of the official Wyvernian YouTube channel and unofficially some other media, such as the Royal Wyvern Gazette. Soviet Bear has stated that he wishes to make Wyvern Television a communist propaganda channel. However, the government has stopped him from doing so while awarding him with his own television show, the Soviet Bear Show. In this show, he often tries to overthrow the government of the Kingdom of Wyvern together with his dog, Comrade Husky, but for an unknown reason fails to do so every time.
