The Social Democratic Party of Ikerlàndia is the party in government in the Congress of Deputies of Ikerlàndia is headed by Iker I the Prince of Ikerlàndia. It currently has four out of the eight seats in the Congress of Deputies of Ikerlàndia.
It was founded on 20 August 2022 in Mittyzöegaad.
The highest body within the SDP is the Party Congress, which convenes once every year. When the Congress is not in session, the Standing Committee is the highest body. Because the congress only meets once a year the majority of duties throughout the year are placed on the Standing Committee and the General Secretary.
The Constitution of the Social Democratic Party of Ikerlàndia outlines the ideological beliefs of the party, collectively referred to as Socialism with Ikerlandian characteristics, which consist of Social Democracy and Iker I Thought. The party is also known for its advocacy of what it calls a "Ikerlandian socialist economic market" where a majority of companies and organisations in the country are state-owned or partially state-owned and managed enterprises. Each successive leader of the SDP has added their own theories and beliefs to the party's constitution. As of 2022, the SDP has 2 members.
