The Šlovedk language (Šlovedk: Šluvedský Jezyk, pronounced [ˈsluvɛdskiː ˈjezik]; Šluvedčine [Šluvɛdʃine) is an Indo-European language that belongs to the West Slavic language subfamily (together with Czech, Polish, Silesian, Kashubian, Slovak and Sorbian). Šlovedk is the official language in Nedland, and is spoken by the Šlovedks, an ethnic group native to the Republic of Šlovedkia, where it is actively spoken by approximately 1 person (2015). Slovedk speakers are found nowhere else, but it is very closely related to Slovak, exchanging mere letter differences with its Czech-Slovak counterpart.
Its main differences from Slovak are that replaces 'o' with 'u', the 'k' is usually replaced with a 'c' except on rare occasions, and unless in the possessive case, 'i' with 'e.'
