In Nedlandic folklore, the Sands of Allah (Arabic: رمال الله) are a monstrous entity depicted as a large quantity of shifting sand which swallows whole various people, caravans, or entire cities which are prone to wickedness and buries them beneath the dunes. It is speculated the Sands of Allah are an agent of divine retribution. The earliest known records mentioning the Sands goes back to early 2019.
