The RRI, officially known as the Ruusun Ristin Istuin (sometimes called The Radiant Empire of the Rose Cross in english) is a spiritual nation that claims etheric land (land on the spiritual plane) in the Norwegian Sea. It operates under a spiritual monarchy and a Fourfold Legislature, with separate government houses for the elements of fire, water, air and earth. The RRI Forestrar serves as the central government and handles everyday state affairs. GMT I is the current Ruhtinasapostoli, or spiritual monarchic head of state.
The RRI's independence was declared in the October of 2022, following the completion and immediate ratification of the RRI Founding Constitution, which established the monarchy as the only form of government, while giving the monarch the power to create other forms of government. The english name (which is not a translation) "Radiant Empire of the Rose Cross" emphasizes the nation's royalty and spirituality, while the official name, "Ruusun Ristin Istuin" (Finnish for "Seat of the Rose Cross") emphasizes the nation's role as an embassy for spirituality. The nation is also intended to be the "parent nation" of other micronations, similar to the Vatican.
GMT I founded the RRI after months of failure and inactivity in a previous spiritual micronation, called the TUS. The TUS failed due to inaccuracies in the constitution, the inherent need for people in democracy, and a general lack of intrest. GMT I waited several months before officially establishing via the constitution the RRI and promoting it to the wider micronational community. The RRI aims to improve its relationships with other micronations, though this is hindered by GMT I's refusal to form relationships with state atheism or atheist leaders.
Etymology
The words "Ruusun Ristin Istuin" mean "Seat of the Rose Cross" in finnish, as GMT I wanted the RRI to be an "Embassy for Spirit, not a cruel kingdom". The english variation of the name, "Most Radiant Empire of the Rose Cross" comes from a desire to emphasize the royalty and readability for the general public, while not taking away from the spiritual side of the name. In most cases, the government uses "RRI" instead of the full name. It is important to note that names for the RRI in different languages are not always direct translations.
History
The history of the RRI can be traced back to the failed attempt at creating a democratic spiritual nation, called the TUS. This endeavor failed for various reasons, such as inaccuracies in the constitution, but the main one is that there was not any interest. Despite this setback, GMT I decided to pursue the goal of the creation of a true, thriving spiritual nation and after about a month of work on the constitution, the RRI was officially founded in October of 2022.
Despite its small size, the RRI is working on establishing itself as a respected member of the micronational community. The government has placed emphasis on improving its relationships with other micronations and continues to work towards this goal. The RRI is in the process of creating an official website and expanding its presence on microwiki. The RRI has also entertained the possibility of creating a commonwealth of spiritual nations for meaningful change in not only the micronational community, but also the spiritual and religious one.
Politics and government
The government of the RRI is Fourfold Legislature, yet has some other bodies that play an important role. The RRI Forestrar is the main, semi-democracic government body that handles things like businesses, doctorates, internal politics, citizenship, infrastructure, and the impact of the RRI on its surroundings. The leader of the Forestrar is the Premier of the Forestrar.
In the Founding Constitution there is no mention to any form of government other than the monarchy, but it specifically gives GMT I the power to create the governmental bodies the RRI has today. The RRI works on a Fourfold system, having a different body for the alchemical elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The monarchy corresponds to fire, Astronomica to air, the RRI Forestrar to earth and The House of the Ocean-Adorned Lords water. The Forestrar is the central government authority that handles everyday life and state affairs. It is interesting to note that THOTOAL was founded by Royal Decree, yet has not been utilized by neither the Forestrar or the Royalty.
Astronomica is an esoteric religious organization of which GMT I is Grand Master (or Grand Magus) that is written into the constitution as having the exlusive and royal rights to have clergy and organize in the RRI. In fact, Astronomica is even given its authority by the RRI, yet it is active in the UK.
The RRI also has sections, but they are inactive. There is the Section of Development, the Section of Intelligence, the Section of Infrastructure, the Section of Culture and the Section of Land. It has been theorized that GMT will incorporate the sections into the Forestrar.
Ruhtinasapostoli
The Ruhtinasapostoli is the head of state of the RRI, and has ultimate control over the nation, except for amending the constitution. The Ruhtinasapostoli is currently GMT I, and issues that effect the nation as a whole must be passed by the Ruhtinasapostoli (the ruhtinasapostoli also has veto rights).
Premier of the Forestrar
The Premier of the Forestrar is the premier of the RRI Forestrar and is one of the most powerful people in the RRI, as they only have the Ruhtinasapostoli to look up to. The title of Premier is given every year, each member of the Forestrar votes for candidates (anyone in the Forestrar can run for Premier), and after the results of the vote come through, the candidate is sworn in by the head of state. The Premier also is the the Master of the Order of the Forestrar, and when they leave office they become a Grand Knight of the Pine of the Order of the Forestrar (unless a supermajority votes to only make them an Officer of the Order of the Forestrar).
Law and order
Currently, there is not many laws in the RRI, one of the most prevalent is that if you are an atheist (defined as not believing in any variation of a god or source field of energy), you cannot hold any position in the government or monarchy, or be a citizen of the nation. The Forestrar is entrusted with making new laws, but the Ruhtinasapostoli reserves the right to create laws at their leisure. The only laws currently in the RRI are ones laid out in the constitution.
Military
The RRI does not have a military, but in the event that the RRI may need some sort of task force to deal with an event, the Section of Intelligence would be used by the Forestrar and Ruhtinasapostoli.
Honours
There are currently seven honours that can be awarded in the RRI. In no particular order;
Royal Order of the Kanik-Krook, Most Radiant Order of Worms and Snakes, Order of the Forestrar, The Royal Most Ancient and Mystic Order of the Kraken, Most Exalted Order of the Crown, and Illustrious Order of the Star in Antarctica.
There are currently no physical medals for the honours.
Admnistrative regions
There are eight regions in the RRI, but a map has not been put together yet, they exist as legal entities only. They do not have local government as GMT I said "They are in the middle of the ocean". There may be further divisions of the current regions. Each current region has "RRI Etheric" before its name, and it is shortened as RE. The governing authority for most regions is RRI Forestrar, except for the capital of the RRI.
There has been no mapping project of the RRI, so the exact size of each region is currently unknown. Each region is named after a festival on the Astronomican Wheel of the Year, a new system for festivals created by GMT I that equally venerates parts of each religion, and nature.

Geography and climate
The RRI is based in a spiritual realm, but also the middle of the ocean. GMT I is striving towards astral travel to the RRI land, but it is not that high of a priority for the nation.
Culture
The national animal of the RRI is the Wood Pigeon, as established in the constitution. The national flower is the Rose, representing the Rose Cross along with the red colour on the flag and the national tree is the Scots Pine, as Pine is associated with the festival of Yule, and therefore Yulica, which is usually held as the highest festival by the RRI.
GMT I currently "has no intention of allowing non-state media into the official workings of the nation" after considering the effects of the mainstream media and other forms of reactionary media, this does not include all media, the main exlusions of this are music, art, theatre, and writing. The national flag has a seven-sided star in white, to represent the seven roses around the rose cross and the number seven, along with light. The red represents roses and the alchemical phase of Rubedo.
Holidays
There is no official national holidays in the RRI, as perennialism sees the value in all religions and therefore all festivals, so no official religious holidays or national holidays have been established, however the government celebrates each festival on the Astronomican wheel of the year.
