Verd'landian Republic of Vladislavia (Verd'landian: Vẽrdɩlandiɩ Respublika Vladislaviɩa; Czech: Zelenozemská republika Vladislávie) commonly known as Vladislavia — was the micronation created as entity representing a fictional universe of country called Verd'land. But after a year of existing it has maximally divided from fictional base, becoming more independent project of completely new nation of real and existing Verd'landians. All period of existence it was in stage of virtual country. On the 9th February 2018 it was merged with another nation — United States of Akkerman, by the first plans to be restored later as autonomous part of it. Now, recreation of Vladislavia is under the question. Most likely it won't be redeclared — instead of it Verd'land is being projected, and as Vladislavia it is planned as Czech micronation.

Verd'landian Republic used to state that it was a member of United Nations, European Union and eurozone.

Etymology

"Vladislav" is the name of state's founder. He considers that despite he tried not to call anything with his own name it is highly acceptable due to its noble sounding.

In the first days of this country's existence there another name was in use: the "Independent State of Verd'land" (Early Verd'landian: Nїodэpindiї Deržava Vэrdїlandiїa), but soon it was renamed.

In community of Russian micronationalists the insulting nickname "Vladislutia" (Russian: "Владибляндия") is commonly used.

Politics

Vladislavia was an unitary state, governed by Malgart together with unicameral advisory parliament called "Riksdag". The last one was divided at commissariats conducted by commissars, and each commissariat could contain unlimited amount of its own departments. Rixdag consisted of five commissariats affecting following areas: Internal affairs, Foreign affairs, Infrastructure and transport, Defense and also Culture with national identity.

Law

The main law of Vladislavia was unwritten "Larmiga".

International relationships

Vladislavia (like Socialist Albania) was quite misanthropic and enclosed country with doctrine of resistance against of external aggressors. Because of original ideology, which was a big mix of different and, sometimes, incompatible principles, this microstate had a lot of opponents and enemies, like religious activists, conservationists, fighters for traditional values, and nationalists. On 21 April 2017 the "War of Senses" - the conflict between Vladislavia and all notable Russian micronations - had started, and it was juridically recognized 3 months later.

In the beginning of may of 2017 year, Vladislavia became a neutral country, which is not accept membership in micronational commonwealths and unions, and isn't accept diplomatic propositions if don't start them itself.

Recognized micronations

One of the peculiarities of Republic's relationships was rejection to accept suggestions of mutual recognition. This was officially set by an "Act of Self-Aggrandisement". Nevertheless, in late times Vladislavia could recognize micronational organisations as "developed ones". This highlighted valuability of random micronations in the country and possibility to have informal or business relations.

National holidays

Vladislavia had changed some days to celebrate. Finally it accepted 8 holidays: 2 international popular, 1 international unpopular, 2 Czech, 1 "pride", 1 state and 1 ethnic days:

  • Greeting - the Verd'landian ethnic holiday of spring meeting. Its exact date is under the question - still unknown the better day of celebration: the first day of March (as the first day of spring) or the first sunny day of the same month.
  • Defiance day - is the copy of the "International Conscientious Objectors' Day", which meaning is extended by including of cosmopolitan sense or ideology of insubordination to the ideologically totalitarian states.
  • Lotamism Day - is the projected pride-day for members of Lotamism (now this movement is called "Florinism"). It factually became the successor of Antihomophobic day which used to exist earlier.
  • Day of Republic - day of Vladislavia's foundation.

The interesting pecularity is that every holiday required different flags to be flown in Republic, and state flag of Vladislavia itself was not frequently used.

Larmiga anchors Verdism (Verd'landian: Kliregul) as prioritized religion. However, Vladislavia was positioned as secular state which bans propaganda of religious movements - especially the radical ones. The states where religious law prevails or replaces the secular laws, were criticized by Rixdag and considered as destructive countries.
