The Republic of Shima (Japanese :島の共和国; Romaji: Shima no kyōwakoku; Indonesian: Republik Shima), formerly the Republic of Hiroshi (Japanese :ひろしの共和国; Romaji: Hiroshi no kyōwakoku; Indonesian: Republik Hiroshi), was a short-lived micronation declaring its territory at Japan and Indonesia. The Republic of Shima was founded in 2014 by William T. in 2014, who at that time also served as the Chairman of St. John. Therefore, Shima received political and economic assistance from St. John, thus making Shima a puppet state of St. John. During its existence, Shima engaged diplomatic relations with the Cantonese Empire (later Taihan), Hashima, Unironia, and Shurigawa. A month later after its establishment, the Shiman government declared its dissolution on 20 December 2014. Pyeonghwaloun, a division of Shima, declared independence after the dissolution of Shima.
