The Republic of Hangout is a micronation founded by Ari Telford on November 11, 2018. It was originally a simple hangout, but he realized that Microwiki only allows micronational adverts so instead of just not worrying about it, he did the logical thing and made it a country.
Government
The Republic of Hangout is essentially a dictatorship run by President Ari Telford. The Board of Ministers is a small group that votes on things. Every couple months or so there is a presidential race. Anyone who doesn't vote for Ari is sent elsewhere.
Land Claims
The Republic of Hangout claims a small bit of California and all of Uganda
Entertainment
Since the Republic of Hangout claims all of Uganda, they also claim the movie Who Killed Captain Alex, the first and only action movie in the Republic of Hangout
