Grand Deustchia Officially the Republic of Grand Deustchia is a micronation consisting of a small landmass territory grouped with several islets within the United Kingdom. Resting in the hills and forests of the county of Worcestershire it claims 1822 square meters of territory.

Grand Deustchia consists of Mainland "Deustchia" and seven smaller territories which are made up of small islets and colonies under Grand Deustchia's control. Having a population of 168 Grand Deustchia is considered a medium-sized micronation, it's capital and the largest city by population is Caterstadt with approximately 92 inhabitants whilst Ackapolla is the second-largest city with approximately 42 inhabitants.

Discovered by Matchboroughan explorers in 1990 they claimed and occupied Deustchia for the Kingdom of Matchborough. Deustchia remained a territory of Matchborough until The Grand Deustchian Revolution in 2005, where the current President and Junta officially became independent becoming Grand Deustchia.

Grand Deustchia is currently growing and expanding at a rapid rate as a micronation, developing much more advanced politics and social needs for a micronational scale. In 2012 it was recognized for preparing itself for a possible Apocolypse based on the Mayan Calander prediction.

Etymology

The name Deustchia comes from English and Germanic languages. The exact meaning of the name is unclear but is said to mean Land of Germanic and Dutch derived from Matchboroughan explorers who discovered a large amount of Germanic and Dutch speaking tribes. Grand was added after the succession from the Matchboroughan Empire to put more emphasis on the nation's independence.

Geography

Grand Deustchia consists of a small landmass territory grouped with several islets within the United Kingdom, they are located within the surrounding areas of Hereford and Worcestershire and parts of the Welsh coast. The largest of all the territories known as "Greater Deustchia" which is in the eastern regions of Worcestershire. It is a heavily forested area surrounded by large hill masses and two main rivers with several main tributaries that feed into the river, Greater Deustchia is considered the most fertile of all its regions due to the red soil and clay within the surrounding area. It also borders a small barren desert known as the Desert of Rock, a landmass that was formally a mountain until it subsided causing a huge rock slide in the area, grouped with several islets within the United Kingdom. Resting in the hills and forests of the county of Worcestershire it claims 1822 square meters of territory.
