Quebec had many state changes before its current form as the Free Socialist State of Paloma. Created as a British dominion claiming Bir Tawil, a terra nullis in between Sudan and Egypt. It was the longest-lasting form of McGrathic states, a term used by Baustralians.

The Commonwealth of Sacrée is not considered to be a successor state of Quebec by some, including the Grand Unified Micronational along with various micronations, Baustralia considers it as the separate but successor state to the People's Federation of Quebec, and recognises the Commonwealth of Sacrée as a McGrathic state.

British Tawil

British Tawil was a claim for the United Kingdom consisting of Bir Tawil. The exact date is unknown but was formed in 2014. Historians in Baustralia use the date of 4 May 2014 for documents requiring an exact date. The Prime Minister was Aidan McGrath and the monarch was Queen Elizabeth II.

Bir Tawil and the Republic of Catholiques

Catholiques, or officially the Republic Of Catholiques, was a North African territorial nation landlocked within the countries of Egypt and Sudan. Beginning as the Communist Republic Of Bir Tawil in 2017, it was devoted to a new form of communism called "McGrathism". This new form of communism was considered an almost perfect governmental system.

Until the 3 December 2017, The governmental elections were taking place in the City of Bir, now St. Patricksburg. 70% Voted on a Capitalist Catholic Monarch. Though being a Monarch, the Republic had no Kings, Queens or dynasties. Every governmental leader was elected after the death of one or the retirement of one. The only Royal President was Aidan McGrath. McGrath fully created and re-designed the country's laws, principals and flag.

The word Catholiques is French for Catholics. The Republic was a Catholic nation that believed in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, considered by them as the first Christian religion, and template to all Christian denominations. Their patron saint was St. Patrick, a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary patron saint of Ireland, along with saints Brigit of Kildare and Columba. The Country's national army was "The National Red Army", with the name coming from communist roots, and was a very high tech, state of the art, and elite military division. The Country had 10 colonies: New Washington, Gull Island, Clarence Island, Harmil Island, Massem, Drietsland, West Fiji, North Henderson, Ernst Thalmann Island, West Cascadia; and 1 buffer state, North Sentinel Island.

Catholique Socialist Republic (2018)

The CSR is a rebrand of the Republic of Catholiques and was a full socialist nation, after changing its name. In early December, the CSR claimed the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone as a Territory of the CSR called Chernobyl Territory to be used for science and nature research. The CSR was then dissolved and mandated to create Mandatory York. The sole president was Aidan McGrath.

Mandatory York

Mandatory York was a geopolitical entity after the dissolution of the Catholique Socialist Republic. As it was dissolved to be mandated, it was able to return to its prior state, upon request of the former president of the CSR. The mandate was governed by John as King with Aidan McGrath as Lord High Commissioner.

Catholique Socialist Republic (2019)

Similar to the former CSR, it was formed upon request of McGrath and granted by John. The president was Aidan McGrath, and had two vice-presidents, Jack Smith and Jack Morris, now Jackson I of Kapreburg. It amalgamated with the Republic of Quebec.

Republic of Quebec

The Republic of Quebec was a micronation with a unitary presidential-for-life government composed of cities, towns, and states. The republic is also the leader of Québécois Commonwealth. It was amalgamated with the CSR the day after foundation and broke ties to Bir Tawil and it's colonies.

The Republic of Québec was founded after former President of the Catholique Socialist Republic, Aidan McGrath wanted to reshape and reform the government itself due to a lack of boosts in the economy. The Constitution of Quebec was later published and involved the dissolution of the Catholique Socialist Republic. It had 5 states, one of which was a former Baustralian dominion and also released its ban on members who are LGBT+ and lifted its ban on non-Catholics.

Kingdom of Quebec

The Kingdom of Québec, or officially the Kingdom of Québec and Versailles, was a self-proclaimed sovereign state or micronation located in the U.S. state of Michigan and the Province of Quebec. The Kingdom of Quebec included the island of Île à Dumais, and others. It has a unitarian absolute monarchist government, as the monarch, Aidan I, rules over it. The Kingdom of Québec was formed after the dissolution of the Republic of Quebec after the Monarch, Aidan I, began to take interest in imperialism and monarchism.

United People's Republic of Quebec

Similarly to how McGrath took interest in imperialism and monarchism, he was once again interested in socialism and communism and so formed the UPRQ. This state revoked the legalization of LGBT+ marriages, though not the ban on other Christian denominations. It was in this state that the Hero of Quebec medal was created, the longest McGrathic order.

Second Kingdom of Quebec

Once again McGrath took interest in imperialism and monarchism and formed a new kingdom similar to the last. It was followed by the People's Federation of Quebec.

People's Federation of Quebec

When the Second Kingdom of Quebec was dissolved after taking interest in communism and socialism again, the People's Federation of Quebec was formed. Similar to the previous socialist McGrathic states, it was the most productive state passing the most amount of bills. The forming Prime Minister was Hankery Jenkinson, a Baustralian baron and Conservative Lord. He later resigned, and William Wilson, a Baustralian Duke and Gradonian King, took the post up afterward.

Sauveuse Republic

Banning socialism, the Sauveuse Republic was founded to rebrand the nation as a conservative democratic republic. It was at this time the Monarchist Party was revived and pushed for a monarchy. Although not their doing, the party was happy when the Sauveuse Republic changed its land claims and the original claims were recreated as the Commonwealth of Sacrée, a dominion of the United Kingdom, similar to the likes of the Commonwealth of Australia, and that of Canada. The Sauveuse Republic ceased to exist in March after talks with Aidan McGrath to merge it back into Paloma.

Commonwealth of Sacrée

On 15 November 2019, after the land claims were modified by the 2nd President of the Sauveuse Republic, the Commonwealth of Sacrée was formed as a British dominion. It followed a Westminster-type government, and had a Parliament. However, the next day, the Commonwealth separated and formed into the Socialist State of Paloma by request of some citizens.
