Progressivism in Posaf is a big-tent political philosophy and reform movement that reached its height in the January 2020 general elections. Government reformist in nature rose in response to the current bicameral and judicial systems criticized for complex systems put in place, and continued Conservative and Liberal wins. Since the May 2019 elections, the Buck Party separated from the Conservatives and grew support as did the Greens with the Liberals. However, later merged back with the Liberals to "remake" the Posaf-Green Party which is seen as semi-progressive. The 2019-20 progressive movement has been largely criticized by the Conservatives and members of the Posaf-Greens for the lack of traditional government values and furthering green policies that are not seen as pragmatic to them. The movement is also criticized by the NDP for the lack of libertarianism.
