The Principality of Noland is a micronation founded in 2015. It is ruled by Prince John V and a ten-man Congress, elected every three months. However, it is undergoing a change to a democratic state.
History
Noland was founded on 27 November 2015 by Prince John V, as the Principality of Foompland. It is located in Vermont on top of a hill. Prince John V was the first citizen of Noland, followed by his brother and the current Heir to the Throne, Sir Andres Nolon, King of Tyland, which is located on the same hill as Noland, and has already made two Treaties with Noland. On February 18, 2016, the Congress of Foompland (at the time), voted on changing the name of Foompland to Noland and the motion passed.
Government
In the Government of Noland, power is divided evenly between The Prince and a ten-man Congress, elected by the citizens.
The Congress
The Congress is comprised of ten members, voted on every three months by the citizens. The current Congress is the Second Congress. It has:

Three current members of the Congress resigned their citizenship when Foompland changed its name to Noland.
