The President of the Jusin Republic(Korean: 쥬신 공화국의 대통령) is the head of state of Jusin, representing Jusin internationally, and has powers over foreign affairs. According to the current 'Public Service and Election Law', the president also holds the position as the head of government of one of several monolingual divisions. The president is elected directly to a one-year term, and reelection is not allowed.
The current president is J1NU. He assumed office on December 31, 2019, with over 75% of the votes in favor of his election.
Powers and duties
According to the constitution and the Law of Public offices, the President mostly holds the role as a diplomatic representative. However, since the President also holds office as the Chairman of the Council of National Affairs, the President can also exert power over the whole administrative branch.
Election and tenure
Since the Jusin constitution does not allow party politics, all presidential candidates are nominated by themselves.
Each individual can serve up only up to one consecutive terms in office, which equals to an year.
