The President of Monreinava is the member of the Presidium, which Presiduim is the collective head of state.
According to the Constitution of the Federation of Monreinava The president is directly elected by plurality voting to a one-year term, while there is no incumbents limitation. However, it is possible for the president to extend their presidential term under the agreement of the Joint committee of Grand Council for no more then 180 days. If a presidential vacancy occurs, the Presidential Committee shall act as agent president until the new president elected.
The incumbent, Jing-Yong Zheng was elected with a voting rate of 48% and has been the president since 30 May 2022, replacing the president GengHao Yang after Yang’s 3 months term. Before that, he was the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation.
