The President of Bartel-Pritchard is the head of state of the Federal Republic of Bartel-Pritchard and is responsible for foreign affairs, "appointing" the Chief Minister, breaking ties in Congress, approving bills passed by Congress, and serving as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Gendarmerie. Nicolas Caiazzo is the current President.
While the President has constitutionally guaranteed powers, they are traditionally rarely exercised.
