The Socialist Republic of Xabaristan (French : République Socialiste du Xabaristan) is a unitary Marxist–Leninist-Maoïst one-party communist republic. It is located in Saint Gildas de Rhuys, in France, today that only territory of the Xabaristan. The name of the country comes from the Persian "xabar" (council) and "stan" (place or country), so this can be literally translated as country of the council" or "country of the soviet", the "i" being purely aesthetic.
