Petcu II Cabinet is gouverning the Republic of Istria since 23 February 2018. The cabinet was changed after the Parliament filed a motion of no confidence regarding the Cabinet Ministers of Petcu I Cabinet after some of them were convicted of corruption.

History
After the discreditation of the ex-cabinet of ministers of the Istrian Gouvernment (Petcu I Cabinet), a Coallition Cabinet made up by The Democratic Party, the Save the Istrians Union and the Istrian Italian Party, who was the cabinet of Prime Minister Arnautoiu, convicted for corruption, the Parliament decided to file a Motion of No confidence against the cabinet ministers of Petcu I Cabinet, giveing a chance to the just elected Prime Minister.
The Cabinet changed on the 23 February 2018 when the motion passed, and PM Petcu was called by the President to form a Gouvernment in it's name. The Parliament voted pro to the proposals of PM of PM Petcu.
The initial agenda of the Gouvernment was about Transport, Education, Health and Labour. This domains were developed the most, thru investors brought to Istria, Historical Research of Istria (Founding of National Institute of Histori "Saxon deu Vacaresti"), Health Research (Developing of National Institute of Health "Il Cane"), working places thruout Istria and educational resouces for employment, but also transportation thru the grate infrastructure projects.
After the COVID-19 pandemic that came in 2020, the Gouvernment changed it's agenda and redirected sums of money from the National Budget to the Healthcare system, comeing with a controvery that lasted until today. The first, second and third wave were handled better then the fourth one when the Gouvernment was struck by the exponential and disastrous growth of COVID-19 cases in Romania. The National Vaccination Campaign continues and has until now 15% of the population of Istria vaccinated.
Dismissal of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Andreiescu Costin
In September 2020 the PM Petcu, decided the dismissal of the Ministry of Youth and Sports after approveing a Gouvernment Decision regarding budget founding of more illegal public gathering in the context of COVID-19 pandemic.
