The Parliament of the Republic of Amithia employs bicameral legislature. Parliament's upper house is the House of Citizens, who's role in the parliamentary system it is to approve acts of parliament which have been voted in favour of by the House of Representitives. The Lower house, the House of representitives' role is to begin the process by which legislation is created by debating and voting on acts of parliament.
