General elections were held in Maximilian On 1 October 2021 to elect the Premier Electors, Vice-President of Assembly and members of the 3rd Nationalversammlung. It was the second election in 3 month maximum.
Electoral system
The 20 seats in the Nationalversammlung are elected by proportional representation in a single nationwide constituency. Before to vote the Premier Electors, The 20 members of National Assembly must elect the 2 Vice-President of Assembly. Then, the 20 members and 2 Vice-President of Assembly turn come to vote the Premier Electors + Premier Electors and Leader of the Opposition must vote itself, so total vote income is 24 to elect the Premier Electors next, this voting system term as D'Hondt Method to vote the Premier Electors. There are no electoral threshold for the election.
