North Zagoria (Bulgarian: Северна Загория) is a state located in central Bulgaria. An exclave of the Democratic Christian Federation of Melite, it shares a land border with (South) Zagoria Autonomous Okrug of Lesia and Karduna to the south, and is landlocked to the north by Bulgaria. It is the only federal subject of Melite located outside the Maltese Islands. The inaugural incumbent Governor is Simeon Nikolov of the Christian Nationalist Party of North Zagoria.
