The CNS New Toledo was originally a mail ship, designated to carry mail from the Cristorian Kingdom to the US via the Maumee River.
On a cold morning on 6 February 2022, King Christopher I christened the new ship, naming her after the Capital, New Toledo. The beverage used to christen her was Coca-Cola, Cristoria's national drink.
New Toledo carried mail to different government officials in Cristoria and apart of the Cristorian Royal Family. She was a hardworking vessel.
In April of 2022, the New Toledo was refitted for the Cristorian Navy. Am airsoft gun was attached to the front, specifically being a Tommy Gun.
The airsoft gun was used to train soldiers to fire at a moving target on the water, thus sparking a new idea for future Cristorian Naval ships.
During a SNOP exercise off of Maumee Bay in June of 2022, the New Toledo bottomed out and struck a rock on her port side lower hull.
Minor damage was reported, however she has a small hole on the lower port hull.
Following the accident, she was taken ashore and escorted back to the Cristorian Kingdom safely and the airsoft gun was detached safely.
The estimated cost for repairs is over $150+, the Navy plans to repair her lower hull and put her back into service by the year 2024.
