New Custosian presidential election, 2019
The 2019 New Custosian presidential election will begin on Monday, December 23.
Background
On October 10, 2016, the Republic of New Custosia was founded by Edward Daniels who assumed the presidency in New Custosia. Daniels declared that presidents and other high ranking governmental officials shall run for three years until an election. If a new president is elected, they must chose a High Senator who represents the legislature partially. The incumbent president can run again for one time and one time only. Edward Daniels chose December 23 to be the date of the presidential elections because it's the day before all the major end year holidays. January 1 is chosen for Inauguration Day because it's the first day of the year and the president-elect can get a "fresh start".

Conservative Candidate
Edward Daniels will be running again for President of New Custosia in order to shape the future and path of New Custosia. Daniels announced his second term run on October 10, 2016.
Independent Candidates
Due to the fact that their is only one political party in New Custosia, the opposing candidate will most likely be an independent micronationalist. As of December 2016, It's to hard to tell what will actually happen for the opposing side.
