The National Democratic Council is the legislative body of Griffasus. It is a unicameral body made up of a variable number of members, who are elected by a "universal, direct, personal, and secret" vote on a closed party-list system. Seats are then allocated proportionally according to the D'Hondt method. All delegates serve six month terms. The National Democratic Council nominally meets in the Federal Legislative Hut in Griffasus' capital, Grenden.
