On the 12th of June, the ministry of foreign affairs was established and Mr A Taylor was given the position of Foreign minister. Mr Taylor is the previous chancellor of Mathenia, before Mr I Cope, and possibly held the position of chancellor for the longest. He formally left Mathenia on Mr Cope's inauguration but gladly returned when given the opportunity to be the minister of foreign affairs. The ministry of foreign affairs had existed in name for a while but the Supreme Leader had never appointed anyone as minister.
