Changing {{DISPLAYTITLE}} to help with translation.

I did a little research and found a template named {{DISPLAYTITLE}} (info here[1]). It basically changes the name of the page seen on the top of the page, but there is a small problem. As far as I understand from here[2], it cannot be used to change the title too much (it can only change capitalization, Italics, Bold and a few other things), since $wgRestrictDisplayTitle is set to true by default. And that's what I want to ask, is it possible in any way to turn $wgRestrictDisplayTitle false somewhere in the wiki settings, so that {{DISPLAYTITLE}} could be used to show the name at the top of the page as the name it would be when translated. --JDFRG (talk) 18:03, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

@JDFRG Sorry for the very late reply. This could have quite alot of potential when it comes to translating articles as it would improve the aesthetic of translated articles. Does this work with MicroWiki and have you actually tried it? I experimented a bit in a sandbox but it didn't work, but maybe I am just stupid and doing it all wrong. Let me know how it goes. @Matt I have looked more into the matter, and have found, that although it could improve the wiki, it does have it's own problems. Also, {{DISPLAYTITLE}} cannot change the title of the page unless it has been allowed somewhere deep in the wiki settings, so I think, that the best option would be just not to use displaytitle, unless needed for changing the capitalization of page names. --JDFRG (talk) 11:40, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
