Reviewing Time (UPDATED)

I will be going through the ga nominations for the next while and will be giving an appropriate verdict--Guess I never Miss (talk) 04:18, 3 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Reviewing time

Several of these articles have not been excepted or delcined even though they have been on here Well over the 7 day grace mark.--People's Republic of Phokland (talk) 16:45, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Seriously!

Seriously though, it isn't that hard... Just look at the Support to Oppose ratio count on an article and either approve or reject it.--People's Republic of Phokland (talk) 01:39, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's not that easy; they have to read the article itself, the reviews, and any other sources, such as the discussion page, to prove if it really is good article worthy. Malik Empire (talk) 06:14, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alaurentia

It has been over a week now, and no one has even voted on Alaurentia's nomination entry, either in support or in opposition. Therefore, to avoid cluttering the page, I have removed the entry, and will try again in a month, in accordance with the rules. --the Dragon of Alaurentia, President of Alaurentia, 1:22, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Quick question

Hi there,

My nomination of John I of Baustralia last month was approved. As with National symbols of New Eiffel, will it appear in the vote later this month, or should I re-nominate it.

Thanks,

His Majesty John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia King, Emperor of Ostreum (talk · email) 16:46, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

As far as I'm aware, it will reappear in the vote until it's accepted however don't quote me on this.  Logan (Aenopia)  Terry Tibbs talk to me  Look at what I've done.  17:12, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Suggestion to the process

Hello. I'd like to suggest a couple of things to be applied for the nomination and voting process: that the person who nominated an article cannot vote in the process because he or she would be, if not obviously, potentially biased in his/her vote, and I would also like to suggest that only one article could be nominated per user per month, because otherwise, it turns out that there may be several articles from the same user competing simultaneously. I thought that the latter suggestion was always a rule?  Logan (Aenopia)  Terry Tibbs talk to me  Look at what I've done.  18:52, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Actually not that I have seen. It seems recurrent for people to appoint several articles and to vote for their own articles. This per se is not a bad thing, I just believe it would be fairer. Arthur Brum (talk) 22:28, 4 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If I'm not mistaken, the new GA process will remove the voting part altogether so I'm not really sure why this is even a debate. In regards to your first point, nominating the article counts as a vote in favor of it in my eyes border style="color:black" addison (talk) 00:52, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Featured article

I feel like articles which have been nominated for Featured article status should have some their own unique GA symbol at the top to distinguish that they were a Featured Article just like on Wikipedia. .. Logan >w<  • .Terry Tibbs talk to me . 14:15, 25 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

FA

Could we have a process for GAs to become FAs after they lose the FA on the initial month? -- President Devin Purcell  Penn Federal Republic 15:23, 26 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Articles that lose the initial month get put on a waiting list. I believe they appear on the main page in the order that they were approved. This ensures that, no matter what, every article gets featured eventually. Luna ♥︎ (talk | edits) 15:54, 26 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
