General elections in Pontunia were held on 1 May 2022 to elect the 7 elected members of the Pontunian Parliament. Pontunia uses a Multiwinner approval voting system with electoral lists and a None of These Candidates option. This Election is the debut of many different political parties, with the greatest selection of candidates ever.

Pontunian Coalition of National Unity (KNU)

The Coalition of National Unity (KNU), also known as the Puntunan Kohlaliton uf Natonal Unitat in Pontunian, is a major political faction in the Kingdom of Pontunia. The Coalition is officially a Monarchist Conservative political party, but it is a right-wing Big tent in practice. It is the oldest continually active party, lead by the King as "Chief de Parten" (Pontunian for Leader of the Party).

Awesome Party of Pontunia

The Awesome Party is the second oldest active party in Pontunia. It is a Third Positionist political party led by the twice-served Chief Minister, Fras.
