The May 2018 Vatolean general election was held on 7 and 8 May 2018. All 5 members of the Folketing of Vatolean were elected and the leader of the resulting government became the Prime Minister.

Background

The 2017 Vatish general election ended with a 3 seats win for the Social Democratic party and Ewing I. Ewing I, the leader of the Social Democrats became Prime Minister.

The process of election for the Folketing is through party-list proportional representation via the D'hondt method. The date of the election is set by the King and Prime Minister
