History

The MPF is the only socialist political party of the Grand Duchy of Flandrensis. It was founded in June 2009 by Marquis Brecht of Schreiburg. Although they started as a small party they are now the third biggest political movement in Flandrensis. All members of the MPF are also followers of Paganism, after their first elections in 2009 they left paganism recognized by the state. The MPF was criticized by the influence of their religion in their politics, but Marquis Brecht promised a strict separation between church and state. As result of the political crisis in Flandrensis the government has fallen on April 30, 2011. Brecht of Schreiburg announced that he would dissolve his party to restart a new one with the FP and Jasper of Cortotiacum (formerly DRP). Not much later the Parliament and all political parties were dissolved.

In the first Senate Election (2008) each citizen gave one vote to one party. In the second elections the Senate adopt a new system to vote, each citizen gave 100 votes separated over 4 parties.
