The Dunkerque Government took office on 7 May 2021, after gaining confidence from the Chamber of Deputies. It was formed by Sean Dunkerque, leader and founder of the Party of Democratic Socialism. The government is largely seen as mostly centre-left, as a compromise between the left-wing PDS and centrist VA.
