Lower plains region
Lower Plains region is one of the 6 regions of the Hilbertian Republic. It is the northernmost region and contains the northernmost point as well as the lowest point of Hilbertia at approximately 218 meters a.s.l. where the Riava river flows into the second well and continues underground. Lower Plains is the only region other than Malaja of which the precise area is known - 303 m2.
The region contains the main water storage tank, the only Hilbertian cemetery, and 2 fields - one for strawberries and the other for various vegetables. There are also many young fruit trees.
All borders with Slovakia are in the form of a 2-meter high fence.
Northern expansion
North of the Lower Plains region is another piece of land that hasn't been used by any neighbor and was in bad shape. The Hilbertian government wanted to buy this land because of its strategic position on the side of a Slovak road, which would give Hilbertia a 2nd border crossing. However, someone else has bought the land, and is now under their governance.
